Exactly, Jess. I'd rather know that there was a possiblity of gaining an A (hence why I opted for Higher in every subject).

That's me precisely. My parents think I'm mad - I hate Chemistry but still decided to do Higher, I'd do even worse knowing I could only get a C.

Yep. If I entered the exam knowing that I could only acheive a C, I'd feel defeated before I'd even sat the exam.

Exam?

yep. 2. Very nervous. :(

me two AHHHHHHHH

That's the precise same reason as me. This might sound odd, but I'd feel a bit defeated going into an exam knowing that I could only get a B and, knowing me, I'd forever say 'What if?'

i was doing higher maths (am for geography) but moved down cause me and the teacher had a 'slight disagreement' about everything and for things like coghing i got sent out (every lesson ) a drag by the end of the year so im now doing intermediate but need 75 for a b when now im averging in the 60s

I suppose that the good thing about Higher tier is that I think I only need 50% for a B. I'd be devastated by a C.

We only need 50% on the paper for a B? Oh yay! I'm averaging around 70%. And I think my coursework should be OK....there's some hope after all!
