MarMar Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 Thanks, Frankie. Not sure when, or if I'll be back. I just want to sleep forever. I appreciate the few PMs I get, and I understand that you don't know what to reply. That's ok. Also, I like the truth better than poorly wrapped up comfort-words. + If you guys have LJ, I post there quite a lot at the moment. Add me, if you want. I'm Mercury_Girl.
Liz Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 If you want to sleep forever, go ahead and do it, just so long as you're looking after yourself. Take care sweetie, I'll be thinking of you.

As you have said, this happens every couple of months to you. I will be honest with you, if you don't want to be in the same place in three months time, go and see your GP. If you don't like them, change and ask for a new one. When i had postnatal depression, i went straight to my GP. So get yourself there tomorrow ok.
Pierced Musie Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 ... My edit didn't show up *growl* What I did put was that sleep is all good. They do say that in sleep, you can sort things out that you can't when you are awake. I feel that this is the reason people sleep when they are depressed or have a breakdown. I sleep a hell of a lot when I'm going through a rough patch. You want truth instead of comfort words? Do whatever you feel is right for now. If that means taking time out for yourself, just do it. It is your life and only you can rule your mind. It's a tough job and it takes time.
MarMar Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 Won't be able to get a doctor's appointment in such short notice. There's at least 2-3 months waiting time. I have my oral exam tomorrow. I haven't studied at all. I can't bare the thought of getting up tomorrow morning and having to look presentable. Having to sit in that room for 20-30 minutes with two professors.
Jess Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 There's 2-3 month waiting list? Can't you go in as an emergency?
MarMar Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 I don't know how or if it's possible. I can't deal with it.
Emmadolly Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 You must be able to see a GP, phone tomorrow and tell them that you have to see one.
