Marieh Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 I don't know how or if it's possible. I can't deal with it. I'm sorry, but I don't think they call it an emergency (they wouldn't have called it here)(sorry, some wrong words there) I'm sure if you just take the time and eat some Freya Chocolate it will all in the end be better. You know we are here for you
MarMar Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 I am going to be very blunt, because.. well, I'm not in a good mood. Chocolate will not help. Sorry.
Emmadolly Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 I don't do well with phones. That is no excuse, it is the same as on the board, there is no person in front of you. Make the call tomorrow, have you chatted to your boyfriend about how you are feeling?, or friends and family.

You know we are here for you Have you ever suffered from depression? Chocolate helps many things... but it does not help or cure depression. And yes, depression, or any kind of mental problems, is classed as an emergency. It is in the UK. Especially if you are considering cutting yourself and have a history of that.
katya Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 Why don't you get your boyfriend to phone? I get him or my mum to phone whenever I need to go if I'm not feeling up to it. Seriously, if it's having this bad an effect on your life you have to do something about it. I understand it's a hell of a lot easier said than done, but at least it's a positive step towards a remedy.

Try telling yourself to do the one thing you can't do and there you have what i'm feeling. Especially if you are considering cutting yourself and have a history of that. I don't have a history of cutting. I have cut myself. I have tried to kill myself (didn't get very far), and I was holding a pair of scissors to my wrist last night. I just don't have the will to do it. Either that, or I'm not far enough down yet.
Cal Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 I am here for you, Mar. Take as much time as you need. I hope it all clears over and that you will feel better soon.

Yeah, that might be a good idea, only problem is that his job is really, really not suited for time off to walk me to the doctor. I can't hassle him with more than I already do.
katya Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 Put simply - yes you can. It's what he's there for, and if the situation were reversed, you would do everything you could for him. Be selfish Merc, he'll understand.
Jess Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 You obviously have some kind of history of depression, so if you go to your GP they should definately class it as an 'emergeny'. Is there no-one else apart from Terje you could go with? Other family members or close friends?
