katya Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 I can't remember much about puberty. I remember when my period started but that's about it. I also remember the very first time I ever got cramp - it was horrendous!
Jess Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 LOL Jess! Trust me, you're really not missing out on much in that dept.!
Pierced Musie Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 I get the cramps... but I don't get the rest.
Jess Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 Cramps s**k! Dan F, is that you I see lurking in the Girls Room?
xGlowingAngelx Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 Cramps are the worst, especially at this time of year. If I get them in the winter I can have a hot water bottle and a cup of tea, but I'm hardly going to do that in Summer, am I?
MarMar Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 I was 9 when that happened to me, Emily, but 12 when my periods started, so not necessarily. I was 10 when I got my period. I get the cramps... but I don't get the rest. Muse, have you ever read up on conditions like endomertriosis? I have always had serious cramps. My sister has been diagnosed with endometriosis and I have 90-95% of the symptoms.. perhaps I should go to the doctor?
Pierced Musie Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 I have an appointment next week to see a doc about my hormones. My guess is they will do a scan to see if there is a problem with my womb. I'm thinking one of the tubes is blocked.
