claire_louise Posted June 17, 2006 Report Posted June 17, 2006 Jeh-Jeh, don't worry about your mum's reaction. All you need to do is tell her that you're going to the doctors because of your periods, and the doctor will most likely suggest that you go on the pill. Then you can explain to your mum that it wasn't your idea, just the best option medically. I used to suffer really badly with my periods, it got to the stage where I would be physically sick from the pain. You can't carry on like that, especially when there's something you can do to help it. Trust me, your mum will be fine!
Jess Posted June 17, 2006 Report Posted June 17, 2006 I'm not planning to for a very long time! Forget artificial babies to put girls off teen pregnancies, I've got my little brother! Playing with trainsets is a fate worse than death!

I know what you mean, but I just know she will freak....my family are really strict about sex before marriage and stuff, and I know that this will just be seen as an excuse for promiscuity (which it isn't!) but I know that it will be judged that way. Does that make sense? I'm just going to have to make do with some paracetamol for a bit longer I guess.... BTTBR: I love him to bits, but I'd never have a Theo of my own!
claire_louise Posted June 17, 2006 Report Posted June 17, 2006 I can see your point, but surely if you can get the point across that you're taking it as medication and not as contraception? It really does help a lot. If not, there are some tablets I used to take called Feminax which are good, although they can leave a funny taste in your mouth (but that's often preferable to the pain!).
Jess Posted June 17, 2006 Report Posted June 17, 2006 I know.....thanks...Feminax....I don't care about the funny taste, I just want to be pain free! I'll look into it ASAP! Thankies! XxX
Jess Posted June 17, 2006 Report Posted June 17, 2006 Is it the anti-histamines Merc? (I ventured into the BB house )

Really? I've never found that.
