So far so good. I had to cut off the stem, though, as it was poking me and generally making my vagina feel bad.

It's like a tampon when inserted correctly (you can't feel it) only that it's placed lower in the vagina, and contains the blood, not absorbing it - there has been no known occurences of TSS after using a cup, and it is much better to keep the vagina like it should be (not taking away the mucous etc) and very enviromental.

That seems really interesting...I only use tampons as pads make me feel too uncomfortable. I might look further into it.

Do you take it out after a certain number of hours?

I haven't used tampons in a good few months and when I tried to use one of prom night last week, I just couldn't. I was perfectly relaxed and positioned correctly, but not of the 4?? I tried were sat correctly.

When I first started my periods my mum tried to get me straight onto tampons saying that they were much easier. I was too freaked out and she bought be applicator ones and I was forced to start swimming so I used the applicator ones (now I just use normal tampons) but I really can't use pads...as the average temerature is 36 degrees celcuis using a pad I wouldn't dare go outside.

They say that you should empty it every 12 hours, but after using mine the entire day yesterday and emptying it around 5pm, there were hardly any blood in it. But, I am a light bleeder (probably because of being on the pill). The official site says that most women have to empty it 2-3 times during a 24 hours span.
