katya Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 What's wrong Amz? I'm eating Lindt chocolate and I'm about to have a glass of wine, even though I'm home alone. It's fabulous but lonely
.Amy. Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 I am going hyper because i am eating jelly babies! Yum yum.
Jess Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 What's wrong Amz? I'm eating Lindt chocolate and I'm about to have a glass of wine, even though I'm home alone. It's fabulous but lonely I love being home alone too, Katya. I get loads of peace and I can pig out on chocolate without anyone complaining!
katya Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 Yea, it's awesome. My folks are away on holiday, and I usually see my significant other on Saturday nights but not tonight. Lol, my mum had to give me a tutorial on how to use the washing machine before she went. I'm hopeless!
Jess Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 ^^ LOL, that would be exactly what my Mum would have to do if she ever left me home alone for any significant period of time. This is the girl that can't operate a tin opener...I have been told that it's because I'm left handed or something...apparently it's harder...
katya Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 That's so random! I'm 24 next month so I should really know how to use a washing machine by now... Speaking of my age, one of the new people in my work thought I was 17! I was so chuffed!
Jess Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 It is incredibly random. It's so weird, when you're younger you do everything you can to make yourself look older and then once you get to a certain age you just want to look younger again, LOL.
katya Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 Pfft, tell me about it. I'm half watching The Bachelor on channel 4. Whatever happened to Chris O'Donnell?
MarMar Posted July 9, 2006 Report Posted July 9, 2006 No, I do not get paid for this! Yes, you have to wash it/sterilize it between every period. Ok, let's go through this quickly as it's 3am. - Buy and get it in the mail (if you can't get it from a store) -Read the manual - It's wrapped in plastic (TV reference) when you get it, so you only have to rinse it when you open it. - For better "popping" (creating the seal) after inserting, rinse it in cold water. - Empty it app. every 12 hours. Wash out of it with hot water (or just toilet paper if you're somewhere where you can wash it properly) and insert again. After your period's over, either: -Wash it with antibacterial soap (but rinse really, really well) - Boil it (but please read how before you do) - Wash it on the top shelf in the dishwasher (Please check up on this as well before you do it). Store it in the cotton bag you get with it. Do not store in plastic containers. Before your next period (before inserting) -Wash it like after you've had your period
