katya Posted July 19, 2006 Report Posted July 19, 2006 I don't think I'll ever be a proper grown-up. I've been working full-time the past few days and I'm really not cut out for it. I'm shattered when I get home and just want to go to bed How's the pussy.....cat? (hee hee)
MarMar Posted July 19, 2006 Report Posted July 19, 2006 She was at the vet's today - chipped, vaccinated and fit as a fiddle (new bloodtests were taken.) You will be really tired for the first week or so, but it will get better!
katya Posted July 19, 2006 Report Posted July 19, 2006 Well I stop at the end of next week so I'll just be getting used then going back to my slothful ways. Has she moved in with you yet? I want a pet
irishgirl01 Posted July 19, 2006 Report Posted July 19, 2006 I wish I was still at uni I know exactly how you feel!! I dont start my full time job until September but i miss the uni life already
MarMar Posted July 19, 2006 Report Posted July 19, 2006 She'll come home this weekend. Actually, we're not home right now - Arya's fosterparents are away, so we're kittysitting, so I get to spend my days with her.
katya Posted July 19, 2006 Report Posted July 19, 2006 I just watched a programme about big cats and it almost made me weep. The cubs are so adorable. There's no way I could film them for shows because I'd just want to play with them all. I know exactly how you feel!! I dont start my full time job until September but i miss the uni life already What will you be doing? I've not really looked very enthusiastically for a full-time job, it depresses me.
irishgirl01 Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 I know exactly how you feel!! I dont start my full time job until September but i miss the uni life already What will you be doing? I've not really looked very enthusiastically for a full-time job, it depresses me. Im starting a graduate placement in an accounting firm. After 4 years of studying accounting at uni its going to take me another 3 and half years to become a qualified accountant. Do you mind if I ask what you studied at uni?
katya Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 I studied English Literature. I really enjoyed the course but I don't know what I want to do with it. Everyone assumes I'll go into teaching, which I don't want to do as I see it as a last resort for me. I think I'd maybe like to go into publishing; read books for a living
Liz Posted July 21, 2006 Report Posted July 21, 2006 When bikini waxing, is it normal to have some bruising?
