katya Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 I think, like Emmadolly said, if you leave it on for too long it stings and causes a rash. Maybe that's the problem.
Mez83 Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 I haven't got enough patience to wait as long as it says to. Maybe that what I'm doing right
katya Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 Probably . I hate the stuff, it makes me gag. Recently I've just been shaving but I think I'll be a brave girl and go back to waxing. Although I tend to get in-grown hairs when I get waxed, which are a pain to get rid of.

Maybe that what I'm doing right Same as me, i count really quick to get it off, i also find it is better to use a flannel. To remove the cream than the razor thing that comes with it. I have not had a rash since i uesd a flannel.

Although I tend to get in-grown hairs when I get waxed, which are a pain to get rid of. I get in-grown hairs with waxing as well, so I usually only just wax my legs and eyebrows then shave everywhere else becuase if not the time and pain of getting rid of in-grown hairs is just too much.
Elise Posted July 27, 2006 Report Posted July 27, 2006 Professional waxing all the way! All I need to do is sit there, and afterwards, pay some money! I get my legs, tummy, lower back and brazillian done every 6 weeks.
MarMar Posted July 27, 2006 Report Posted July 27, 2006 I want to get my bikini line waxed, as I can shave my legs myself, but I can't muster up the courage nor do I know if any places where I live do it.
Jess Posted July 27, 2006 Report Posted July 27, 2006 I don't really know what I've done wrong...I left it on for the required amount of time etc...but arghhh....I'm just itching like hell and the hot weather really isn't making things better. There were no warnings on the tube about not using it on the bikini area, it just said words to the effect of don't use it on the genitalia....thats the only warning it had, oh, and don't eat it. I've used similar things before and nothing's ever happened....hopefully it will go away before I hit the beach at the weekend I am seriously the hairiest person...I have a line of hair that goes all the way up my tummy...it makes me look like a guy. Plus the backs of my legs...I look like a monkey if I leave it one day too many before removal!

Trust me darl, it took a long time for me to find the courage to do so! But I just made the appointment, and figured I couldn't back out, so I went anyway. And you know what? I could never go back to hair, and having to shave!
