pam Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 I need some help in what I should choose for my A Level Subjects. I have narrowed it down to 5 but I can only take 4 so I was wondering if someone could give me some advise on what to take. I have narrowed it down to: History Geography Maths English Language and Government and Politics.
emzyflower Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 I need some help in what I should choose for my A Level Subjects. I have narrowed it down to 5 but I can only take 4 so I was wondering if someone could give me some advise on what to take. I have narrowed it down to: History Geography Maths English Language and Government and Politics. What do you want to do after A levels?!! I did three of you suggestions. Geography A level was great (hence the uni degree now). If your not doin modern history you could find all the reformation stuff hard and boring, same for English Lanuguage..good but boring, and Politics was great fun! I never did maths, was glad to drop it at GCSE
pam Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 I really want to study Law. I think I might drop Maths now but I will think about it over the next couple of days. Thank You for your response Emzy. =)
katya Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 I did politics in first year at uni and I despised it. It was horrendously dull but if you want to study law I'd recommend you pick it.
Jackieleanne Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 If you want to study Law id recommend history as the skills you use in history case studies are the same type as what you use in law, a lot of law professors and universities recommend history as an A level to have if you want to study it as it comes in handy and the same with Politics.
pam Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 Thank you for all of the responses and helping me =). I think I have made up my mind to take: History Government and Politics Geography and English Language.
Jackieleanne Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 Yea they sound like good choices I found English Language really good and its also a really good A level to have, if you want to do Law I think those four are the best to study.
