I dont know about the pains as I dont get them, I only ever have once, they were very painfull cramps. My mum didnt really tell me I just guessed it was it when I went to toilet there was only a little bit, its not like you loose a whole heap.

Edit: Forget to mention my pains put me in hospitial, so im very thankful I havent had any since then

I knew about it, so it wasn't a suprise.

But the pain feels like a sword stabbing your lower abdomen from the inside out. Very painful. And it goes on every 10 minute intervals throughout the first two days of my period. So I skip it. No pain.
