Except that I'm saying it based on never having tried it.

That's true, but it's fair enough if you don't like the sound of it. A lot of people never try tampons because they just don't like the idea, but others find them to be the best option. Maybe in a few years you'll have a change of heart.

As much as I love being on the pill, it really does make me eat a whole load of junk

How does being on the pill make you eat junk food..yep near the time some women crave sugar , esp, chocolate"

I'm not due my period yet but I started taking the pill a year and a half ago (I think) and I've totally noticed that I can eat way, way more than I used to, and that I crave food a lot more.

If I didn't go the gym I'd be a massive blob of chocolate and bread. I'd be a pain au chocolat :P

That's a good point actually Katya, I seem to have been a lot hungrier over the past few years! And I hardly ever get that horribly full feeling anymore. Perhaps that's down to my pill. Ah well, I could do with putting on some weight!

I never really feel horribly full either. I have a big meal and then I still feel like I could eat more

Tabby, maybe you should see your doctor about your sex drive...it could be something other than the pill. I think I read in one of your previous posts that you had a lot of uni work recently, so it could be stress. Or I might have you mixed up with someone else.

I think the pill killed my sex drive. I stopped taking it over a year ago, but things haven't really improved :(

I absolutely had the same problem with the pill- NO sex drive whatsoever. In fact, it took about 6 months to come back after I finally went off the pill.

You might consider going to a women's clinic and getting tested for exactly what pill you personally should be on. I dont think that too many people know this (its certainly not well publicized here)- but because hormone levels are different in different people, some forms of the pill are not suitable for certain people. Doctors tend to give one of four or five brands out as standard, and it may be that the pill you are on doesn't 'fit' you- if you know what I mean.
