It sort of happened we was really close friends and aaron helped me through my breakup with my ex and we started really flirting like crazy then I realised when I was away that I liked him more than just a friend I missed him like crazy and with the time difference in america I was always crying at night when I couldnt talk to him via text heck I missed him so much I spent £200 texting him while I was there and we wasn't even going out then. :P He has a pic of us over at myspace or on msn. He lives in London I live in Manchester but we are trying to see each other once a month and we are going away in October aswell as him stopping here for a while when Im driving ill be there all the time. :P

So how long have you been going out? Sorry for being nosy, I just think it's really cool that you met on this forum and are now a couple.

I have to say that I'm with my best friend of seven years (we started dating 4 and a half years ago)- and we are still going strong. I think sometimes you have to take the risk of the loss of a friend - if you feel its worth it. I imagine how horrible it would have been if I hadn't said something to Damien (my boyfriend)- both of us were holding back due to fear!

I do agree with those of you who have mentioned the problems with - sometimes he and I are so close its like we are living in each others shoes. It can get very frustrating. It IS important to have other friends as well- close friends. Ultimatley I know that the person that I want to spend the rest of my life with HAS to also be my best friend. And he is. :)

I totally agree Deaddea I totally feel that way about Aaron, and if we hadn't of taken the step because we was both too scared to say anything we wouldn't be together now and I can totally not imagine that.

Four and a half years?

Why is it, I have no problem saying 'forever' to my partner, but 'four and a half years' sounds like a loooong time. :P
