Marieh Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 How long ago is it since you blackef out?
Traceve Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 ^ About 2/3 months, which is why i'm pretty sure i'm not pregnant.
Marieh Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Me and my dad had to go down to his work to turn of the smoking machine *smooked salmon etc* and then we went downstairs to look at the crabs, and they were HUGE! *well not that huge, have seen bigger * and of course he had to take one out and then I *I!!!!!* had to pick it up! And it was so sscary because I was so afraid that it would bite me! Will go back with him tomorrow and take pictures! And for the record, there was atleast 8000-10000 in those tanks, ALIVE! And ewww, I smell like smoke:p http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_crab This is what they look like after my dad have killed them!
Jess Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 OMG, Marie, they're huge!!! *shivers*
Marieh Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 That's acually the small ones. All the big ones is gone *prob. taken last year* But on the pictures it's 8+ crabs.
Jess Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 It's all the legs and the pincers. Rather you than me!
Marieh Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Haha! Well we're going back tomorrow. Will take pictures then, I thought they were dead so I freaked when I saw all the tanks with running wather and legs pupping up here and there
Jess Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Tanks of any live animal freak me out, too. I went to Milan (Italy) on an exchange with school and my family took me to the supermarket. We went to the deli counter and there was this *huge* tank in the corner, full of all kinds of sealife. You just picked the one you wanted and they killed it for you there and then. It was gross! I tried to take a picture because I didn't think that anyone would believe me when I returned to the UK, but because of the reflection from the glass the picture came out weird - so I deleted it.
