But whilst I'm in the girls room, can I just ask, does anyone know what might help heavy period pains? For the last couple of months it's been really heavy, well heavier than it's been before, and the stomach cramps are horrible. A hot water bottle helps a bit but does anybody have any other good tips?

I went to the doctor to get prescribed medication (the pill + pain killing tablets that are really effective) it's the only thing that ever helped me.
