claire_louise Posted December 7, 2006 Report Posted December 7, 2006 Three things to celebrate! 1. My period has appeared again. I was about to give up on them becoming regular so woohoo!! 2. I just baked chocolate brownies. Not from scratch but I am building to that. 3. I won £50 on a ****ing scratchcard!!!!! That's what I call a good day! Actually you've just brought back lovely memories of some chocolate brownies I made last week. Admittedly I'm a bit of a domestic goddess (ahem, perhaps not, although I do work in a kitchen), but they're pretty easy to make from scratch. As long as you don't mind making a lot of mess! A good tip is to use marshmallows instead of syrup - they melt into the mixture and stick it all together. Divine.

After making a few things I plan to continue cooking because it is kind of fun. The packet of brownie mix was easy but a little strange. All you had to mix in was water, 1 egg and oil. Yes, oil. I don't think they were that nice either. On the subject of money, I have just done the accounting thing. I have summed up just how much money I have all together, in three different accounts. All in all I actually have over $350 . And I get another lot of benefits the week before Xmas.
MarMar Posted December 7, 2006 Report Posted December 7, 2006 Muse. I have a really yummy, and easy, recipe for you to try: Brownies 300g butter 130g chocolate 400g sugar 4 eggs 150g flour 4ss coco-powder 2ts umm... vanilla sugar. the kind you use in baking 1 single espresso (instant is just fine) (150g crushed nuts) Melt butter and chocolate together Whip eggs and sugar Add chocolae/butter, and then all the dry stuff + espressp 165 degrees celcius, app. 30 minutes - small cake pan.
Pierced Musie Posted December 7, 2006 Report Posted December 7, 2006 oooh that sounds good. Expresso as in coffee, right?
