Wait a couple of years, and then we'll talk.

No period means no clue whether or not you're pregnant, and if you don't want babies, I hope you appreciate this "invention"

13 is young! I agree! I feel so old!

13=young then 11 = ....OMG! They were right! I am a baby!

LOL

Speaking of periods...I feel so happy it's the holidays. If i have to sit through one more PDHPE lesson like THAT...then....*shudders*

I pity the person who has to DRAW those diagram!

Ok, I've finished going on about nothing! :P

I don't bother with my period, and won't until I get a boyfriend and have unprotected sex - as in, no condom, but me on pill.

I use my pill to skip my period and escape the horrible pain within me.

You can do that? Hmmmmm

Yupp, you just skip the sugar pills and go straight to the "normal" ones, don't know how to explain it :blink::P

Yep. The pill packet comes (well, mine anyway, everyone's is different) in two colours. You have the 'yellow' tablets, they are the 'active' pills. Then you have the 'red' tablets, and they are the 'sugar' pills.

Basically, you take the sugar pills to have your period. The pill basically tricks your body into being pregnant, so when you take the sugar pills, you get your period. The sugar pills are just that - sugar and lactose. So basically it is a 'fake' pill, meaning, all of your periods when you are on the pill are ultimately fake.

You can skip it without harm, most people have 4 periods a year, whereas I have 3 a year (so like every 4 months) becuase I get really sore and painful for a few days proceeding and during my period.

My doctor says it is totally safe, and you won't get any side effects. Basically, all the 'period' serves is to let you know you are not pregnant. I know I won't get pregnant for the time being, I'm single and not 'with' anyone, so to me it makes sense.

Hope that sorta explains it, if not, I guess you could always "google" it.
