A man doing what you want of him? Has the world stopped turning? lol. Sorry being cynical, just a bit annoyed with my best mate repeatedly phoning me when he's drunk.

Its great that Joe's saving. You'll be getting engaged around when I'm in New Zealand then...

Drunk phone calls are so annoying. My best mate especially does my head in, going on about what girls he's pulled, I just feel sorry for the poor deluded fools who get involved with him, he's the biggest womaniser I've ever met. He also gets really soppy when he's drunk which drives me mad!

So I'm going to miss your engagement party then? lol.

I've read in the Vulvapedia (the site belonging to a LJ-community) and in the article I think was linked to from there - on the OBGYN-site. I've also checked out <a birth control community, but the lack of system made it kinda hard.

I'm on a birth control brand called "Trionetta" - it contains Levonorgestrel and Ethinylesradino, and I guess it's a pretty generic bc-brand. I've been on it for 7 years or so. I know that you shouldn't take St. John's wort if you're on hormonal bc (I guess this includes NuvaRing?), but right now I feel that taking it might be the first step in getting some help for my recurring depression (I'll go see someone professional too, but that's not what this is about).

As for what I came here to ask - is there any danger in still be on the pill while taking it? The article I read on the OBGYN-site said there were so and so many unplanned pregnancies in the test groups. I wouldn't use the pill as the only mean of contraception - we always use condoms as well, because I'm kinda paranoid. The Ask-a-Nurse-community said something about St. John's wort interacting with estrogen and breakthrough bleeding was not unheard of. Has anyone tried using both St. John's wort and bc-pills at the same time? Any experiences?
