That sounds like such a tempting idea at the moment. Theres far too many people in this house. I could cope if the sisters who live away would stay away. lol

Lol it sounds not bad, but I talk more than anybody I know - I swear, the people on the plane will think I've lost my mind. I just know I'm going to start talking to the seat in front of me or soemthing! Or worse, I'll sing along with my iPod again ....

That was this summer going to Ibiza lol - didnt realize the entire plane could hear me!

Just did a massive test to see if I have depression/are prone to be depressed... I got a 76 of 100:

"When you experience a setback or problem in your life, one of the issues on your mind is what other people will think. You may believe that others take pleasure in your problems, that they feel sorry for you, or that they are otherwise judgmental of you. Unfortunately, this attitude can lead you to feel worse about your problems than you need to. It also means that you may be less likely to seek comfort from others when you are in emotional pain."

Just took a shorter test as well, and ended up with the same score

"It's common for people to feel a sense of hopelessness for a time when undergoing certain traumatic but rather common life events, such as significant personal or economic losses. However, this feeling seems to be fairly persistent in your case and a serious condition may be developing. Your feelings most likely interfere with your job performance and/or limit your social activities, putting a damper on experiences that have great potential. It is important that you take active steps to decrease the frequency and intensity of these emotions so that they don't dictate the way you carry out your life. If your symptoms are connected with a negative incident in your life, then you might overcome them naturally with time. However, if there has been no such incident, there may be cause for alarm. The good news is that Depression is treatable and the success rate is very high. You may feel at the present time that every day is a struggle, but it can get better. After some time and with proper treatment, facing another day will become easier and gradually, you will find joy again. Talk to a physician."

Merc, while you may think this says a lot about you, these tests are purely generalised. You can't take it too much to heart. Besides, if you really do feel this way, the best thing you can do is what you're doing now - open up about it, talk to people, and ask for help when you need it. The last thing anybody here wants is to see you depressed - and we most certainly do not take pleasure in your problems!! We're all here to help :)

Yeah, I know they are generalized, but it's "nice" to see that what I feel fits with both tests (on regular sites as well as sites and tests used by psychologists) and symptoms of unipolar depression and/or bipolar disorder.

The first test was 101 questions, while the second was only 20 or so.

Well I think thats a hugely positive statement. The tests make it clear you do have depression, the symptoms seem to fit you and there is a solution available. I'm sure that must be a huge relief to you.
