MarMar Posted February 19, 2007 Report Posted February 19, 2007 It's 1:48am. T has to be up in 4 hours. He just went to bed. He has, literally, been playing "Supreme commander" all weekend. I asked him if he doesn't have any self-disipline and poked him with my drawing tablet pen. He took the hint and went to bed. When we first met, he was light blue. Like skimmed milk. Now I know why.
allibaz91 Posted February 19, 2007 Report Posted February 19, 2007 Hmmm, odd! Also dont know why you'd sit up til 1.48 playing "Supreme Commander" Just cant get my head around the randomness of guys ...... although believe me, I've tried!!
claire_louise Posted February 19, 2007 Report Posted February 19, 2007 The ages are basically the same here, Jo - go to high school at 11 or 12 and you can leave at 16, but you can stay on until you're 17 or 18 if you wish (depending when your birthday is) We just call it different things lol We have to leave at 16 That's not really true...we only have to leave if there's no sixth form. Then you just have to go somewhere else to carry on studying.
Ashirr-Leigh Posted February 19, 2007 Report Posted February 19, 2007 Same as the computers in my uni .. I always end up sending emails twice cause I never know if they've actually sent or not!
allibaz91 Posted February 19, 2007 Report Posted February 19, 2007 ^ Lol I know! Most annoying thing ever!
MarMar Posted February 22, 2007 Report Posted February 22, 2007 I've been sleeping terribly lately. Not only that, but I'm "constantly" tired. Went to take a shower after dinner to wash my hair and stuff and not I'm completely knackered. Also framed 5 more photographs for the show, which tensed my shoulders up... It hurts real bad.
allibaz91 Posted February 22, 2007 Report Posted February 22, 2007 Awww! That's rotten luck - I hope your pain eases soon! As for the sleeping thing, I can relate - I dont remember the last time I slept more than three hours in a night! And the worst part is, I used to do it through choice, but now that I want to sleep I just cant! All I can recommend is not getting distracted - that makes your sleeping patterns even worse
carmelle Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 ^^I can never sleep for more than four hours a night, even when I decided to have an early night. I usually lay awake in bed till the early hours and when I do fall asleep it's always when it's morning. So I end up waking up late. People keep telling me that I should just go to bed earlier if that's the case, but they can't seem to understand that I would if I could. Funnily enough, I never have a problem falling asleep during my lectures at uni.
~Lynd~ Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 I have sleep issues to,i'm often still roamiing around here at 3am and sleep during the day.
katya Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 I'm the same Lynd, I go to bed at ridiculous hours and get up at ridiculous hours during the day. I think my sleep pattern is to blame for a lot of problems in my life, and although it's really easy to fix, I have a lot of difficulty doing so. I just seem to really really lack self-discipline.
