You should be able to save it. Just take it to somewhere like Carphone Warehouse and ask their advice.

Thanks Muse. Yeah I'm going to try and get down there asap. It's drying on the radiator at the mo!

It's an MDA compact 11, T-mobile. Was quite expensive as it's one of those ones you use with a pin instead of having to press the buttons. I got it as I was getting Repetitve strain injury from too much texting (!!) and it stopped once I got this phone as it's you hardly have to press the buttons at all. It was 2nd hand but was still £175 so hope it can be fixed. It's a good sign that it's turning on I guess.

Heh, shows how much I don't know about mobiles. I got my first one 2 years ago, and still have it. Twas a basic thing, for emergencies. I don't use the phone much because I am afraid of phones but I am trying to change.

I am thinking of buying a new one, mainly because T-Mobile is ****e around here. I need something like O2 for a good signal.

I went into Phones 4 U a few weeks ago and was immediately approached by a saleman. He asked me how much credit I put on my phone a month. I said that I put about 20 pound on my phone every 6 months. He walked away, completely disgusted .

I was like you before I got this one - I'd had mine for ages and all my friends were saying "get a new one so I can send you a picture message" and I was like "a what?!" lol. That salesman was pretty rude, £20 every 6 months isn't unheard of. You could always just get a new O2 sim card and put that in your mobile if you don't really want a new mobile. Or if you do want a new one, nokia is generally the easiest to use.

 When I went into Phones 4 U last week the sales guy asked me that as well. I said about £5 a week and he was disgusted, never mind £20 every 6 months.

And mobile phones are anything but cheap. I want to get a new phone, but I don't really speak on one much, and don't see the point in spending £35 a month for something I'm not using, I'm happy using my 02 sim, where I top up £15 and get 500 free texts. Infact I got the sim free from the 02 website. The deal is still going, check out the site.

Totally random, and I didn't know where to say it but MAR changed her name!! :P It looks so weird, like the time she went from Majohn! :P

That sports-bra I bought makes my boobs look even more like banana boobs (I hope I'm not the only one who's got that and that people know what it is, so that I don't feel all that weird for having it). Even more, it has the same kind of removable straps like those nursing bras have... 0_o?!

I don't have it personally, but I know what it is lol :)

That's rather odd lol! What's with the nursing bra straps then? Any particular reason for those? Surely a sports bra doesn't need them??
