I wasn't gonna post this but when I saw the whole 'mooncup' debate I didn't think it was inappropriate. I just read something quites scary but I don't know if its true, do eating disorders affect fertility?

Yeah, they do. 'Cos when you lose a lot of weight, your periods can stop, and stuff. If this happens over a long period time then there is evidence to suggest that it may affect your long-term fertility. Put it like this, I don't think they help matters.

Put it this way, you're not fertile if you don't have menstruations. You don't get your first period before you reach a certain weight, because your body cannot be fertile while being "underweight". Starving yourself will make you lose weight in an extremely unhealthy way, which might/will your period disappear and leave you infertile if it goes on for too long.

Says the one with disordered eating.

Oh, the irony.

Thanks. I really appreciate it. Things just get messed up at the moment. I don't cope at all. :(

Good luck with new hairdresser!

I am hoping that my hairdresser at the moment either branches off or they find a new place to move to. The problem is apparently the rent going up, which is a bitch.

I will find out next week, when I go in for my appointment.

And Pinkie, beautiful, it is just a blip on the radar. You'll wake up in the next few days and you'll be back to your old self. Believe in it and it'll happen :D

Edited to Add: But then being obese will cause the same chain of events. Which is a bitch, ain't it?

Thanks, these things move in cycles. I should really get tested for bipolar disorder.

Unfortunately I have no idea who the real me is. Been depressed for as long as I can remember.
