MarMar Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 Due to the failure to find those glass beads, and the discovery of a spool of steel wire, I decided to make LeBag all purty with that instead. Took me about half an hour to sew the wire on tightly. Each "ring" is steel wire wrapped around my left index finger to give it form. It's been sewn into place with some black thread.
allibaz91 Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 That's gorgeous, Mar! I think the bag looks terrific, and the steel wire design is very original and trendy The photographs are great too!
*purple*star* Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 Bag look really nice!!! The design is really really pretty!! The pics of it are brilliant!!
~Lynd~ Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 That's really nice Mar! It's a bit diifferent to which i like.
MarMar Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 Wow! Lots of comment Thanks for all support. Kinda new to this crafty-stuff. The bag's the first think I've ever really made
~Lynd~ Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 Hmm,now i'm jealous! You'd never think that was your first thing.
MarMar Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 Thank you. Not that hard, though, seriously. I'm not all that crafty, I'm just a wannabe Knit bag in wool yarn, sew it together and felt it using a washing machine.
allibaz91 Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 ^ I think she's having us on It looks like you've been at it for ages!!
MarMar Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 LOL! I'm not! I just learned to knit again this Christmas, and all that gave me was a ridiculously long and wide (not to mention warm) scarf that'll turn into a stuffed snake some time soon Ok, so it's not my first thing, but it's still my first "real" thing.
~Lynd~ Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 At least you know how to knit which is a good start.Definitely NOT my strong point, lol.
