MarMar Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 D'oh! I was wrong yesterday! I only counted half the bags, so to speak. A bag to fit an 12" iBook is in fact (with strap) 13060 stitches! No wonder it takes me long and that my hands hurt.
allibaz91 Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 No wonder indeed!! I admire your dedication and willpower, Mar
MarMar Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 Thank you I need something to keep my busy. I mean, I could read the curriculum for one of my subjects (which I haven't read any of and the exam's in 6 weeks), but this is better more fun I knit while doing other things, like watching the shows we download. I've been stressed my whole life, so just doing one thing at a time is out of the question.
Eli Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 I knit while doing other things, like watching the shows we download. I've been stressed my whole life, so just doing one thing at a time is out of the question. I'm like that too! I can't just watch TV, I need to eat, draw, write, talk or sit on the internet while watching
Guevara01 Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 I'm the same. Or I just get really fidgety xxx
allibaz91 Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 I can't sit still to do anything! I actually worry how I'll survive when I go to uni, having to sit through lectures etc I'm considering getting a decent laptop and typing up notes in lectures instead of using my dictaphone, cause there's no way I could sit and listen!!
MarMar Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 I use the iBook and write 5-7 pages over the course of 90 minutes. Just finished the first half of the first item for a swap! Yay! It's felting now
allibaz91 Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 That's awesome, Mar! You must feel really proud when something like that is finished, to be able to say: "I did that." Seems like it'd be awesome
MarMar Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 Feels kinda good, yes And I now know how to slant my knitting! Woot! ... Sorry, really tired now
allibaz91 Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 Lol I'm unsure what that means, having tried my hand at knitting once and given up But I'm assuming it's a good thing, so YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!! *does a lil hyper dance for Mar* In case nobody noticed, I'm too hyper for this hour
