MarMar Posted April 20, 2007 Report Posted April 20, 2007 Love Romy and Michelle Thanks for your help!
Cal Posted April 20, 2007 Report Posted April 20, 2007 It's grand. My DVD collection is a bit Halloween-ish. Might have to purchase more comedies....
MarMar Posted April 20, 2007 Report Posted April 20, 2007 I'm really not into comedies and stuff. The Boyfriend, on the other hand, loves Sandra Bullock and romantic comedies
Cal Posted April 20, 2007 Report Posted April 20, 2007 I'll give you advice on one 'Romantic Comedy'..... The Break-Up! It's awful. I found it quite sad.... My Sister and I wanted cheering up on a certain day (we had gone to Gran's funeral earlier and we were a bit 'down in the dumps'), so we watched it........ not a good idea.
MarMar Posted April 20, 2007 Report Posted April 20, 2007 Really horrible? Might have to download it:P
Cal Posted April 20, 2007 Report Posted April 20, 2007 You're guaranteed to have pulled your hair out by the time it has ended.
Pierced Musie Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 Comedy romance is not my bag but I can reccommend anything that involves Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson & Will Farrell. Oh and Johnny Knockville is a way to make the mood better ! I bought a beaut of a skirt today from the market. I'm about to try it on (with knee high socks!) and hope it fits. Will take pictures if fits.
MarMar Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 I've finished Phantoms' bag. At least the knitting part. Now all that remains is felting and sew the lining. I don't know what fabric to use for lining yet: *I've got some really cool fabric on the way from eBay. *I got a hold off some on-sale all-done curtain in shiny, smooth fabric (I think it was polyester), in off-white, magenta-ish purple (a bit darker) and black. I'm also almost done with Chrissy's bag. A bit of knitting remains + lining. I've not completed the black part for the knitting as I ran out of black yarn - which I bought 6 skeins of last Saturday! Trying out something new for these two bags. Here's an up close pic of the unfelted and unsewed bag I'm making for Phantoms. This brings me to the next point. Went for more yarn today. Didn't bother driving all the way to the factory as we needed kitty food anyway and were gonna check the pet store at the mall if they had it. It seems all the stores around here order too small quanta of Hill's Adult Light, so whenever we need kitty food, all the 10kg bags are gone and we're left with overpriced 5kg bags, or worse, 1kg. Well, today they had it in stock. One left. We grabbed it and ran. Yes, we paid before we left the store. Well, the craft-store's a few stores away from the pet store, so we stopped by there for more yarn. They only had 3 skeins of the yarn I use left in black, so we got that, and the coolest fabric eva! It's made of thin fleece and it's ever so nice! Got 1m of it, and it's huge! Then a thing happened that amused T greatly, as we were standing around waiting to have the fabric cut up (I didn't want to mess it up, so T grabbed a woman working there to do it) this women, maybe 25-30 years old, comes up to me and ask me if I work there. Wha? When did I start to look like the craft-store is my natural habitat? Do I look that crafty?! T says yes. He blames the pink hair. But then again, he says he's got two phrases that covers pretty much any situation: "You have pink hair", and "Too little sex".
