Seeder: People who have the complete file and is seeding it to others through a torrent. With torrents, most websites say they would like you to leave the torrent going after it is complete. When you have finished downloading, and leave it going, you become one of the seeders. The more seeders, the faster the download. I remember also downloading something that had 2 seeders & one leecher. I got the download within an hour.

Leecher: The people who are downloading the torrent and have the incomplete files. If I remember rightly, by setting your upload limit, you are also uploading what you are downloading, which helps others.

Now I could be wrong, but I think that if you have a load more leechers than seeders, it does go slower than usual. This happens with new torrents put up, like newest episodes of shows.

Try mininova & isohunt for torrents. And thepiratebay is also a good one to find good torrents
