Ok, so... I want to buy/save up for a sewing machine.

Now, we've already got one, or my mom does. The problem is that it's 42 years old. It was in for service a few years ago, and came back even worse. Unfortunately, this was during a time where neither me nor my mom used it, so we didn't find out till it was too late to complain about the poor quality of the service. There are several things bugging me. First, it takes about 10 minutes to get the bobbin thread up (I believe that's what it's called) and secondly, it sometimes won't let the bobbin "go" and the threads get all tangled and it locks the needle and therefore also the fabric into place. Takes ages and a lot of patience (which I don't have) to sort out. Thirdly, we cannot remember how to make it go backwards, meaning lots more work to tie up seams, etc.

I want a machine that is easy to use, not too basic and maybe not too costly? Anyone want to suggest any?

I'm often, too often, disappointed with commercials these days. There's one that's been in the movies here for at least a year that just screams "Emergency contraception!" - it starts with the words "in love" ("forelsket") and shows black and white stills of a young couple. The song goes something like "Everything that you do. I'm gonna stay with you... for the rest of my life - in every possible wa-hay". And it turns out it's a commercial for engagement rings. How lame isn't that? It should be the day after pill!

But, yesterday, we were there to watch "Sunshine". And finally, there was a commercial that lived up to my "expectations": Shots with loud music from a rather drunken party. A guy and a girl spots each other from across a room, they move towards each other and stumbles, wobbly, up to the bathroom where they lock the door and have rather fast and rough sex on the floor. The commercial ends with the guy introducing himself as Henrik and the girl says "Hi, I'm Chlamydia". Brilliant.

I'm going to keep going with Season 2 on torrent but if you do decide to get the whole series, I would be interested in downloading Seasons 3, 4 & 5 from you.

I think my problem is because there are only a few seeders so the download speed is not going to it's full potential.

Will have to buy some more DVD+R discs and redownload all of Season 1 again, so I can put them on disc. The only thing I am not looking forward to seeing in later seasons? The hot guy with a mullet. So bad.
