I know, saying stuff like that sounds so grown up (now you have a kid so you're probably more used to being grown-up than I am :P ). I feel weird even saying stuff like "I have to go to work" or "Can you give me my glasses and get me some coffee?"

I'm gonna rant again, so feel free to skip reading if you're sick of me, people. Copy-and-paste from my LJ.

Seriously. New high-school-drama-possibly-overreacting-post.

I turned off my cell last night and forgot to turn it on again today, so it wasn't until Iselin told me my friend had been trying to reach me I realised I hadn't checked it all day. I turned it on again and he called me like 15 minutes later.

He said he was sorry and everything, and came up with some explanation that didn't really explain anything, nor made anything seem better for that matter.

Then he's like "Well you know, you can probably come if you'd like?"

So I asked him when it was and he was like "The party starts at 5, but if you can be there after 7 that would be good, cause that's when my dad leaves and I couldn't invite more than 14 people."

Yes, I understand that he would get in trouble and that he didn't want to break the rules his father gave him, believe me, I don't blame him at all. But I still find this rude!

I just told him I couldn't make it because I'm having a girls night with Sara instead (which is true, even though we decided on it yesterday).

I might be overreacting or something, but his excuse that he "hadn't really wanted for half of those people to get invited but suddenly they were 14", not even telling me about it and then offering me to tag along, AS LONG AS I DID IT TWO HOURS AFTER THE PARTY STARTED. That just pisses me off.

Please feel free to tell me if you think I'm being wrong, cause I'm not saying that I can't be wrong about this.

Well yeah, in the sense that I'm a mum I feel grown up.. my dad says I have a 'sensible head on my shoulders' but I still feel like a kid sometimes, lol. Getting a flat though, that'll be a big turning point!

Nah, I don't think you're over-reacting. It's a bit nasty really. He probably isn't meaning to be nasty on purpose but that's how I'd take it anyway. I think you're better just sticking to your girls night. At least you's are talking again though, right?

I agree with Ash.You're not overreacting but do try not to take it to personally. They don't mean to be but guys are insensitive pricks. They just don't get it.It's a guy thing.

Hi guys! :)

I always seem to stop coming here for a while, not just this thread, the board as a whole.. and then remember about it again and get ever so slightly addicted to it, lol.
