Eli Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 Eli can't help sorry. I've used the same maybelline foundation for years, I'm too scared to swap to anything else. I have branched out on eye shadow recently, I've discovered brown eye shadow really suits blue eyes. I'm also growing my nails, finally and I'm obsessed with matching my nails to my lippy every time I go out. I know what you mean, I've been using Maybelline's Dream matte mousse for years, cause it's the only foundation that doesn't make my skin break out horribly, plus it covers well and doesn't melt down. But my skin still isn't that clear, and I think I should switch to a mineral makeup, but I really don't want something that melts down, looks like you're sweating as soon as the sun hits your face (I used a foundation that melted just like that, even if you weren't hot at all) or doesn't cover up anything. Thanks for replying anyway
Pierced Musie Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 I've never had problems with spots and I think that is because I have never bothered with make-up until now. I prefer pale foundations so I go for the natural collection from Boots. It's good and is also quite cheap.
Skykat Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 I forgot you don't have boots Mar. I only really wear foundation when I'm going out but I've always been very up and down with my skin. Its improved loads recently but thats because i've curbed the amount of caffine I drink and I drink two litres minimum of water a day. My skin went awful at first but it really improved after that.
MarMar Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 Goooooood! I'm PMSing all over the place.
~Lynd~ Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 You're not alone.I have really painful PP at the moment.
MarMar Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 I don't think I've ever been this bitchy, to be honest, and I'm not getting my period till Friday - I'm not sure how I'm gonna make it till then I feel for you
~Lynd~ Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 I'm not there yet either....god help anyone who comes near me when i'm moody and in pain!So far i'm mood swing free but i expect that to change dramatically....Soon! Thanks .
Eli Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 I hope you both feel better soon! I've never been that bothered with PMS, I'm just moody and bitchy in general But recently I've started getting cramps though, never had it before (except once) but lately I've had it. Only for like one day though, and pretty surviveable, so I won't complain.
Pierced Musie Posted September 27, 2007 Report Posted September 27, 2007 I just did a trial maths exam, in preparation for tomorrows real exam. I got 20 out of 40, and the pass mark is 22. I have studied my ass off and I still can't get things right. Not only would I have failed in the real exam, I would have run out of time at question 30. If I fail the exam again, I'm going to see about doing GCSE Maths at college. Has anyone else done that at college? Is it good? I think the problem is doing maths on a computer. A written exam is much easier!
