jack+martha=trooluvv Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Well, this is the girl's room, and I had this sudden urge to vent all the gross details of my horrible story, so if you don't like it, deal with it. GAH! I HATE THIS! OK, so my first period has decided to finally show its head and I'm glad it waited, because I don't get why everyone says it's so special and wonderful. It is a f*cking pain in the @ss and I do not want to have to deal with blood coming out of my private bits for the next 40 frickin years. My mum's been good about it but it's still so frustrating. It's not a full-blown one - sort of inbetween spotting and a proper period, so my pads get really messy but I can't put any tampons in (and yes, I know how to do it properly) without it hurting because it's not wet enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry. I'm moody.

I'm sorry. I'm moody. I know how you feel Meg! I was an early bloomer and my mum wasn't home when I first got mine, so I ended up using toilet paper for hours until she got home! I dont see why its so *special* either. Before I went on the pill I used to get really bad stomach cramps, so bad I couldn't even get out of bed, I'd also get a migraine so I'd be throwing up as well! 5 days out of every month I endured that insufferable pain! Now, I get to choose when I have my period, being on the pill is the best thing I could have done! On another note, I hate my breasts I'm only a small person, kinda short but I have big boobs and its so annoying, I told my mum for years I wanted a breast reduction but she wouldn't listen! They're not as big since I had the car accident, I had to lose some weight because of my back and what i done to it but I still hate them!
Eli Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 I haven't been on Mercilon, but I have been on a different Anti Androgen Pill (Estelle 35) which gave me the worst vomiting ever. I'm not having a good experience with it either, not because of side effects or anything, they're just not working at all. It has just messed up my period completely. I was supposed to be on it for three months as a trial thing, but even though I'm not even halfway through I think I'm going to call my doctor tomorrow and ask for another appointment, as it's not working out at all. I just asked cause I wanted to know if anyone else had similar bad experiences
Barbara Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 ^ One of my friends had to try 4 different pills before she found the right one for her. If your pill isn't working, going to your doctor is probably the best thing you can do.
Eli Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Yeah, it's annoying as hell, and I know I should probably go through the entire trial, but seriously, two more months is not tempting... Especially not when I'm going away on vacation soon. I just hope I can get an appointment before that
Barbara Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 I can understand that. Having your period on holiday sucks! That's the thing I like about being on the pill, you can make sure you don't have it on holiday. Try to call your doctor as soon as possible if you want an appointment before you go on holiday.
nia06rox Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 Im only 16 but i want to go on the pill! i dont know how to ask my mom though!
suzannelgnz Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 I was 16 (almost 17) when I went on the pill, But I went on it for medical reasons. Maybe if you tell your Mum, why you think it might help you in other ways (ie. lighter periods, less acne, etc.) she might be a bit more supportive.
Bethan_Paige Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 I went to an ann summers party on saturday it was such a laugh! I'd recommend to any girlies thinking about having one to do it it's hilarious and the woman we had eas really helpful she even measured me for my bra size! lol
Eli Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 Speaking of measuring for bra sizes... I met the craziest woman ever yesterday. She literally scared me, I'm not joking. She attacked me as soon as I entered the store, measured me (not by my request by the way, I had no choice but to stop and let her measure me) to a 32E or F. Interesting, since I've otherwise always been measured to (and I'm pretty sure it's right based on three years of shopping experience for that size) I'm a 34 or 36D. She also asked if I was a swimmer, because apparently I had slim ribs and swimmer muscles. Um... I go to the beach, and I made out with a swimmer two weeks ago, does that count? Scary, scary lady. The kind probably too scary to even end up living by herself with 14 cats and an extensive collection of tea cups.
