One thing that was never really finished was the thing about the kid that stole irenes wallet when she went looking for tash. I remember tasha going over to someone house and asking for billy and he was looking out at them from the shed.

Do you know where he went to??

I always thought that that Josie storyline started at the wrong time, they built up to it, and then it was the wedding stuff and it sort of got forgotten for a couple of weeks.

Matt went into the diner storeroom in 91 and then wasn't seen 2002.

Rob said he was going down the boatshed in 95 and has never been seen again.

It was actually Andrew who went into the Diner "storeroom" (actually toilet but its no biggie) and never came out. Matt went down to the tax office about his car and must have got stuck in a really long queue.

When the divers got lost off the Blaxland, Scott was supposed to be in a lot of trouble, and it sounded as though they wouldn't be able to run any more charters. And then suddenly...it was all forgotten.

Also it's always amazed me how Kane didn't get arrested for robbing that warehouse when he got run over by Dani, since they found all the stuff he stole next to him!

I'm beginning to wonder if anyone is ever going to find out that Amanda ran over that man and left him at the side of the road. It seems to have been forgotten about

I don't see how anyone would find out, she framed him, he was buried. He died from hitting his head, so it could have happened anywhere, there would be no reason for anyone to suspect a thing.

That Blaxland thing was positively strange. Scott and Alf were moaning about how they were going to lose the boat and the business etc, then suddenly it was never mentioned again and things carried on as normal. I assume the writers realised how pathetically boring that storyline was and abandoned it swiftly, hoping that it was so boring no-one would ever notice.

But nothing gets past us! haha

Also, Henry Hunter went to boarding school "in the city" and evidently walked off the face of the Earth because he too has not never been heard from since. No one thought to deliver the news of his grandfather's death to him, nor to perhaps invite him to the funeral. Clearly the writers have also forgotten of his existence beacause he was never accounted for. And what does he do during school holidays? Are we supposed to believe he was bloody tap-dancing all summer, winter and Easter break long???

They should have killed him off whilst they had the chance. He is the biggest joke of a character I have ever seen. They cast far too many poeple for the Hunter family, they only managed to give about half of them proper storylines and character development.

I think the word your looking for is "plot-device". The only reason they did the "storyline" about going out of business was so they could do the storyline about the divers, which had obviously popped into one of the writer's heads one day while, I dunno, sitting on the loo or something. So they needed a reason to have this storyline happen, so they wrote that the Blaxland was doing bad business. Once the missing diver storyline was over, there was no need to mention it again. Not even for continuity, seemingly.

In 1996 Curtis and Chloe were at the top of some big water tank thing in Summer Bay, and Curtis tripped and fell through the barrier and was about to fall to his death when Chloe saved him and pulled him up. They never told anybody about it.
