Chapter one hundred.

“I’m going back to the cabin,” Gypsy said startled. “Are you ok, you look kind of pale?” Will asked worriedly. “I’m fine, Lily needs a sleep and Rachel well, I need to put her hair in rollers for tomorrow,” Gypsy said grabbing Rachel’s hand. “Oh can we see Lily,” Natalie and Rebecca say in unison. “Umm, she’s very tired,” Gypsy said running towards Lily holding Rachel’s hand. “Is she ok, Will?” Joel asked concerned. “I don’t know, I just don’t know,” Will asked as ran after her.

Gypsy put Lily in her cot and looked at her as slept soundly. Her heart was still beating fast, why did he have to show up? A tear slipped down her check but quickly wiped it away when she heard the others come in the cabin.

She heard a knock on the door and Sally walked in. “Hey, are you ok?” Sally asked concerned. “I’m fine,” Gypsy said as she walked around her room. “No your not, what’s wrong?” Sally said as she touched her shoulder. Gypsy flinched. “Don’t do that,” Gypsy screamed. “Do what? What did I do?” Sally said shocked. “Touch me,” Gypsy said breaking down in tears as she ran into the bathroom.

Will walked into the bedroom and looked at his beautiful baby daughter sleeping soundly in her cot and picked her up. “Is Gyps ok Sal?” Will asked as he was about to walk out. “I don’t know, I can have a word with her if you want?” Sally said as she squeezed his shoulder friendly. “Would you mind?” Will asked relieved. “Of course not,” Sally said as she knocked on the bathroom.

Will walked out with baby Lily and holding Rachel. “Aww, is this my grandchild,” Natalie said as she ran towards Will, Rachel and Lily. Will handed Lily over to Natalie. “Aww, she looks like you Will,” Natalie said as she sat down on the chair. “Poor sod,” Hayley and Nick say in unison.

“And whose this sweet little girl,” Joel said bending down by Rachel. “I’m Rachel,” Rachel said as she bounced onto Joel’s lap, “your other grandchild.” “We’ve fostered her,” Will said as he looked at Joel’s confused face. “Auntie Bec, Uncle Trav,” Rachel said running towards them.

“Gypsy, let me in,” Sally said gently through the door. “Go away Sal,” Gypsy said as she cried even louder. “Gypsy let me in please,” Sally said desperately. Gypsy opened the door and looked at Sally with her tearstained face. “Gypsy, what’s wrong, are you having doubts about the wedding?” Sally asked gently. “No, of course not, I love Will and I want to spend the rest of my life with him,” Gypsy said as she sat on the toilet seat. “Then what?” Sally said as she sat on the edge of the bath. “Its my family,” Gypsy whispered breathlessly. “Don’t you want them here,” Sally asked confused. “I want my parents here, and of course I want Bec and Trav here, but I don’t want him here,” Gypsy said shaking. “Who else is here?” Sally asked confused. “My granddad,” Gypsy said shaking violently. “Why? He’s your granddad,” Sally asked as she looked confused. “No he’s not he doesn’t deserve to be, after what he did to me,” Gypsy said as more and more tears fell down her face. “What did he do,” Sally said moving closer and closer to Gypsy. “He raped me,” Gypsy whispered as she burst into another set of tears.

Chapter one hundred and one.

Sally stared at Gypsy in shock. “He did what?” Sally said so shocked she could barely speak. “Nothing,” Gypsy said quickly wiping away her tears from her face as she quickly got up from the toilet seat. “Gypsy, you can’t just say that and walk away,” Sally said grabbing her hand. “You want me to talk about it, alright I’ll talk about it, I’ll talk about having to have this great fat thing pumping away on top of me when I was thirteen, shall I?” Gypsy screamed at Sally. There was suddenly a knock on the bathroom door.

“Are you ok in there?” Will asked as he knocked on the door. “We’re fine Will,” Sally answered as she saw Gypsy’s scared looking face looking up at her. “Gypsy?” Will asked worriedly. “We’re just screaming about how we’re getting married tomorrow,” Gypsy said trying not to let her voice break up in tears. “Alright,” Will said walking away towards the living room.

“Talk to me Gypsy,” Sally said looking over at Gypsy who slipped down the bedroom wall in tears. “Alright if you want to know, here’s the sordid truth about how I got rapped by own granddad.”

FLASHBACK. (Gypsy’s 13)

Gypsy was on the stairs listening to the conversation with her dad and Harrison her granddad. Joel takes another swig of scotch before picking up a photo of Gypsy and gazing at it admiringly. Harrison looks at the photo and smiles as he and Joel sit down.

”That’s a good one of Gypsy do you want it? To take back with you?” Joel said as he sipped at his whiskey.

“Yeah I will, to remember her by,” Harrison said as he gazed lovingly at the photo.

“She’s lucky to have a granddad like you, so is Tom,” Joel said as he poured him self out another glass of whiskey.

”You think so? I’m not so sure,” Harrison said as he carried on staring at the sweet innocent picture of Gypsy.

“They adore you, especially my little Princess,” Joel said smiling as he thought of his only girl.

”Yeah, they’re good your kids, both of them, especially Gypsy,” Harrison smiled as he mentioned her name.

“Look, I’m sorry to ask on such short notice, but could you look after Gypsy tonight?” Joel asked clasping his hands together like he was begging.

“Why?” Harrison asked quite taken aback.

“She’s just feeling a bit under the weather, women’s problems probably. But I promised Nat I’d take her and Tom out to the cinema,” Joel asked still begging.

”Sure, no problem, I’ll go up in a bit and rub her tummy better,” Harrison said smirking to himself.

“Thanks dad, I owe you one,” Joel said as he patted his dad on the shoulder.

As he walks out of the room, Harrison picks up the photo again, gazes at it for a second before placing it face down on the table. He picks up the scotch and drains it in one go, before following his son out of the room.

Gypsy bounds into the room and jumps onto Harrison’s knee, giving him a huge hug.

“I’ve missed you granddad,” Gypsy said smiling up at her granddad.

”Have you now? So, what’s my special little girl been up to today? Your dad said you were under the weather?” Harrison said as he tickled Gypsy under the armpits.

“Did he? I don’ feel bad. Am I bad?” Gypsy asked worriedly.

”Of course your not! You’re my special little girl Gypsy, remember that,” Harrison said as he carried on tickling her.

”I will! Can I stay up late tonight?” Gypsy asked cheekily.

”Why?” Harrison asked as he grinned down at her.

”To watch TV silly! Daddy and mummy won’t let me stay up late, it’s not fair!” Gypsy said pouting her lips.

”No its not, Ok then but only one hour,” Harrison said smiling down at her.

“Four,” Gypsy said trying to bargain with him.

”Two,” Harrison said as he held two fingers up.

”Three,” Gypsy said as she tried again.

“Two and a half,” Harrison said laughing.

“Done!” Gypsy said as she shock his hand and smiled.

” Right, we're going now, we'll be back by about 11 ish. Make sure madam there’s in bed will you? I know she can wrap you around her little finger, but she’s got school in the Morning!” Natalie said as she kissed Gypsy goodbye.

“Don’t worry. I think we'll both have an early night won’t we darling?” Harrison said smiling widely. ”Yeah. I’ll be good mum!” Gypsy said giving her mum a huge kiss on the cheek.

”You make sure you are young lady!” Natalie said as she walked out of the door.

Later on during the evening:

“I think you'd better go to bed now princess,” Harrison said as he looked at Gypsy who was watching the TV.

”Now? Its only half nine!” Gypsy said whining.

”Go on, I’ll come up to tuck you in , in a bit OK?” Harrison said as he watched Gypsy get up off the sofa.

”OK. Night, night granddad!” Gypsy said as she kissed him on the cheek.

”Night precious,” Harrison said kissing her back on the cheek

In Gypsy’s bedroom, she was getting into bed she jumped out and opened the curtains at one side of the room, you could see the Moon through them. Just as I got into the bed, the door creaked slowly open.

“Are you dressed?” Harrison asked as he walked in the bedroom.

“Yeah, I’m in bed, come and tuck me in,” Gypsy said giggling as she laid in her bed.

Harrison moves across to the bed before sitting on it. As he tucked Gypsy in, his hand is continually resting on my upper leg over the duvet. He Moves up the bed, closer to me.

“Your my special little girl Gypsy, I do love you, you know that don’t you?” Harrison asked he looked into her deep green eyes.

“Of course I do! Why?” Gypsy asked confused.

“No reason, just your turning into a woman now aren’t you? Your not really a little girl anymore are you?” Harrison asked as he looked over her body which was growing into a woman’s shape.

Whilst his eyes remained on Gypsy’s face, his hand was moving up her leg, slowly, very slowly.

”h-what are you doing?” Gypsy asked sounding a little bit scared.

”yes, your definitely a woman now Gypsy, I bet you have lots of boyfriends don’t you,” Harrison asked as his hand moved further and further up her leg.

”not really-“ Gypsy said sounding more and more scared as his hand moved further and further up.

”why not? Your beautiful...very beautiful Gypsy,” Harrison said as he looked into his eyes.

Harrison’s hand is now almost at the top of my leg, Gypsy was beginning to panic.

”Erm, I’m... I’m sleepy now, you can go back down stairs if you want... dad will be back soon,” Gypsy said as she tried to move her legs to her chest.

”No he won’t Gypsy. Its just us two. Just you and me alone together all night.” Harrison said he moved closer and closer to her.

“All-all night,” Gypsy said stuttering as she felt the bile rising up to her throat.

”Yeah all night darling... its just you-and me,” Harry said as he grinned like a Cheshire cat.

He moved even closer to Gypsy - then he leaned over to kiss her. The only sounds she could hear, were harsh breathing and the odd creak of bed springs. After the breathing has receded, the moonlight was now shining very dimly into the bedroom, just enough light to see Harrison sat on the edge of the bed with his shirt out, head in his hands. as his shoulders drop

Chapter one hundred and two.

“Do you hate me?” Gypsy said weakly. “Hate you? I could never hate you, why the hell do you think I would hate you?” Sally said in dismay. “You believe me?” Gypsy said astonished. “Of course I believe you, why the hell wouldn’t I?” Sally said as she moved Gypsy closer to her.

“No one else did,” Gypsy said as she wiped her tears away with the back of her hand. “Who didn’t,” Sally said shocked that no one could possibly disbelief her. “If I tell you everything, you can’t tell anyone, especially Will and Tom,” Gypsy said looking into Sally’s eyes. “I promise,” Sally said as she grabbed hold of Gypsy’s hand.

“The morning after it happened, I didn’t want to get out of bed, I didn’t want to face life, I just wanted to curl up and die, I wanted to know what I had done wrong,” Gypsy said as sniffed up the tears and played with her hands. “You did nothing wrong, it was all his doing, you are not too blame,” Sally said as she held Gypsy by the face and looked into her eyes. “Tell that too my parents,” Gypsy said as the anger showed in her eyes. “Did you tell them?” Sally asked scared off the answer. Gypsy nodded. “What did they do?” Sally whispered as she looked into Sally’s eyes. “She didn’t believe me,” Gypsy said whispering back as another lot of tears formed in her eyes. “What?” Sally said in dismay, “how could she not too!”

FLASHBACK

Gypsy walked down the stairs of her house wearing her blue teddy bear dressing gown with her hair all messy and knotty. Gypsy saw her mother laying the table for breakfast. “Gypsy why aren’t you ready for school,” Natalie asked as she looked at her eldest child. “Mum, something happened last night,” Gypsy started off as she looked at her mother and tried to get the words out. “Gypsy now I’ve told you, that there is no such things as bed bugs, it’s just a saying we use,” Natalie said laughing to herself. “Mum its not about the bed bugs, its about granddad,” Gypsy whispered as a single tear slid down her cheek. “What’s wrong, is he ill?” Natalie asked worriedly, “your father will be devastated.” “Mum, granddad came into my room last night,” Gypsy started off as another tear slipped down her cheek.

“What’s so bad about that love,” Natalie said laughing, “He always comes in your room to tuck you in.” “He did more than tuck me in,” Gypsy started to stutter as she tried to get the words out. “What do you mean?” Natalie asked suspiciously. “Mum, he raped me,” Gypsy whispered as the tears fell down freely from her eyes.

“Gypsy, don’t you dare say something like that,” Natalie said looking at her daughter in disgust. “It’s true mum,” Gypsy said looking up, not quite believing that her mum didn’t believe her. “It’s not, your lying,” Natalie said as she leant against the kitchen unit. “I’m not mum, I promise,” Gypsy said starting to get hysterical, “why would I lie?” “Because your nothing but a lying cow,” Natalie said as she slapped her daughter around the face.

Sally looked at Gypsy after she finished that part of the story. “She didn’t believe you, your own mother thought you were lying,” Sally said as the anger rose up inside her. Gypsy nodded. “How bloody dare she,” Sally said over and over again, “I can’t believe she did that and she hit you too.”
