Chapter hundred and six.

“Nothing son, I just stepped on her foot,” Harrison said quickly trying to think of anything to get them to go back into their rooms. “No you didn’t,” Gypsy said as she folded her arms. “What’s going on?” Will said as he tried to console a screaming Lily. “Tell them, granddad, I’m sure they will be so interested to hear, what you have to say,” Gypsy said as she walked towards him. “Don’t do this Gypsy,” Harrison said looking so scared. “Don’t do what? What am I doing? Oh your scared I’m going to tell everyone what you did to me all those years ago, opps, looks like I let a bit of it out,” Gypsy said as she took a deep breath.

“Did what?” Joel said looking at his father, “dad what is she talking about?” “I don’t know son, she must be drunk,” Harrison said as he felt the beads of sweat drifting down his forehead. “Nope, I’m sober and I was when 13, I remember every little detail, from the shirt you were wearing to the fact you cried after what you did to me,” Gypsy said feeling the tears spring in her eyes.

“Gypsy, what are you talking about?” Joel said looking at his daughter with concern and confusion. “Shall I tell them or shall you?” Gypsy asked Harrison who was sweating more and more, “I’ll tell them then shall I, how my granddad came into my room, when I was 13 sat on my bed, stroked my leg, then told me how I was growing into a woman.” Gypsy started to break down into tears, but she wasn’t going to let him beat her.

“You then kissed me and I felt your horrible old craggy lips on top of mine, and I felt physically sick, I wanted to scream but I couldn’t, and then you had sex with me, you did things that I didn’t even know what they were, you took away something so precious, something you should save for the person you love and cherish, and I didn’t love and cherish you in that way,” Gypsy said finally breaking down into huge sobs as she sank to the floor.

“Please tell me it isn’t true,” Joel said looking at his dad. “This is a joke right,” Will said looking at Gypsy. Gypsy looked up at him. “Are you serious? You really think I would joke about something like this,” Gypsy standing up on her feet the anger pushing away the tears and the emotion. “Dad,” Joel said walking towards him.

“Gypsy, how could you reveal it, in front of everyone,” Natalie said looking angrily at her daughter. “You still don’t believe me do you mum?” Gypsy said shaking her head. “Believe it, don’t believe it I really couldn’t care, but I told you mum, I was 13, and I told you that someone we all trusted came into my room and touched me up, what was your reply,” Gypsy said getting angrier and angrier as the memories came flooding back, “your reply was, to slap me around the face and call me a lying cow.”

“Natalie?” Joel said looking towards his wife, Natalie stood their in silence. “What’s wrong mum, cat got your tongue, you don’t want people to know what hard faced cow you really are,” Gypsy said as poured herself out a glass of vodka and drank it one go. “She knew it was true,” Harrison said looking up at Gypsy.

Gypsy pushed her ear up so she could hear again. “What was that?” Gypsy said as she poured herself out another glass of vodka. “I knew,” Natalie said not wanting Harrison to tell everyone. “This I have to hear, go on mum, tell me what you know, tell me why, you’ve made me believe you didn’t believe me,” Gypsy said as she poured herself another glass of vodka.

“I asked him after you told me,” Natalie said as she started shaking, “he told me the truth about how he came into your room and raped you, I didn’t want Joel or Travis to find out, so I paid him to leave Hong Kong.”

Gypsy laughed. “So why didn’t you tell me secretly, I believe you, I’ll be there for you,” Gypsy asked as she poured another drink and knocked it back in one. “I don’t know, I was scared I guess,” Natalie said not really knowing what to say. “Scared? If you were scared what was I mum, it wasn’t you that was raped, it wasn’t you that your family hated,” Gypsy said as tears filled her eyes.

“We never hated you,” Joel said still trying to come to terms with what had been revealed that evening. “Really dad, does the name Cassie, ring any bells,” Gypsy said as she gulped as she said her daughters name.

“Cassie?” Will said trying to keep up. “Gypsy, it was the best decision, you weren’t fit to be a mother,” Natalie said sounding quite bitchy. “I’ll tell you something mum, I’m a better mother than you’ll ever be,” Gypsy said as she didn’t bother with the glass and poured vodka down her throat straight from the bottle. “What the hell is going on,” Will asked still confused.

“I’ll tell you, my grandfather made me pregnant, my family treated me like an outcast, didn’t speak to me, didn’t include me in family outings, all because you thought I got knocked up by some boy behind the bike sheds, when it was own your own father, dad,” Gypsy said as she took more and more sips from the vodka bottle. “You told me that,” Joel said trying to defend himself. “Yeah I did, to save you from hearing the truth, but you know what, I never expected you to call me a slapped, slut, a cow, a hoe, but you didn’t understand dad, did you, you made me like that,” Gypsy said as she slammed the empty bottle in the bin and got out another bottle. “Me? How?” Joel asked confused. “I didn’t want to disappoint you again dad, so I went out of my way to sleep with all the boys at school, in the neighborhood, I mean what dad wants dad gets right?” Gypsy said as tears slipped down her cheeks but she quickly wiped them away again.

“When Cassie was born, did you hold my hand, tell me how brave I was, tell me I was doing great, nope, you just sat you big fat bottoms on the chair and looked at me in contempt, and then when Cassie was born, I fell in love with her, with her black tuffs of hair, and hazel eyes, and her snow white skin, and half an hour later, you came in dad, with this woman and took her away from me, you took my baby away from me,” Gypsy said with such hatred in her voice. “I’m so sorry,” Joel said as he walked across to his daughter.

“Save it dad, because your not important to me anymore, neither are you mum, I’ve got more important things in my life than you, I have Lily, my baby, and who was there for me when I was pregnant, not you again, but Travis & Rebecca, and I have Rachel who may not be mine biologically but she’s mine in my heart and always will be, I have my friends the only friends I have ever had, friends that would probably die for each other, and last but not least I have my Will, a boyfriend I have finally let in to my heart and he may have broken it once with what he did with Dani, but I know he is my soul mate, my sunshine, my laughter, the person that make forget what a dirty, little whore I am really,” Gypsy said as she sniffed away the tears that were falling freely from her eyes.

Gypsy fiddled with her diamond engagement ring and took it off, and placed it in Will’s hand. “What are you doing Gypsy?” Will asked shocked. “I can’t marry you tomorrow, I can’t be with you anymore,” Gypsy said through the tears. “What on earth are you talking about, of course you can, I LOVE YOU!” Will said shouting out the last bit as he tried to touch Gypsy’s face but she flinched away. “I can’t, I can’t be with you now you know, I can’t be around you lot anymore, I didn’t want you to find out, I just wanted to forget my past and now he is here and you all know I’m never going to forget it." She kissed him on the cheek, kissed Lily on the forehead and whispered "I love you nver foreget that." She kissed Rachel who was asleep in Irene's arms whispering, "I love you, like you were my own."

She walked over to the kitchen sink and grabbed a huge kitchen knife and pushed it up her dressing gown sleeve, grabbed a bottle of vodka and ran out into the cold night, as everyone looked on with shock as Colleen said “Wait until Madge Wilkins hears about this.”

Chapter one hundred and seven.

Gypsy sat down in the freezing cold snow crying her little heart out, all she wanted was one of those big comforting hugs, from the only person she had ever truly loved, but now he wouldn’t want her after he found out the terrible truth about his wife to be would he?

Will meanwhile didn’t any words to be spoken he knew what he had to do and he did it, he punched Harrison so hard on his nose that he fell back against the kitchen cabinets. Vinnie and Joey held him back to stop him hitting him again. “Stop mate, his not worth it,” Vinnie said as he held him back. “Not worth it Vinnie, he raped my girlfriend, put her through living hell, and came here, on what was meant to be our wedding day,” Will screamed at everyone, “and now the most precious person in my life thinks I won’t love her anymore, when in fact it’s the opposite I love her even more.” “Then tell her that, don’t let her walk out, you moron,” Nick said as he pushed Will towards the door, “you have 10 hours until you get married now get out there and get the girl you love.”

Gypsy was sitting down looking at the blade of the knife shining against the glistening stars, inside she was breaking like vase after it has been knocked off a cabinet from a great height. She took the knife to her skin and very gently cut her arm and as the red crimson blood poured from her arm, the pain and sorrow of her past left her…

A young Gypsy and Tom were running around a playground in Hong Kong with their dad. “That’s it Gypsy, you can climb that climbing frame, your daddy’s little girl,” Joel said as he beamed with pride at his daughter who was three and climbing up all by herself.

Gypsy put another cut in her arm as she took another sip of her vodka and again as the blood poured out of her arm another memory slipped away into the distance.

Gypsy was gazing up at the moon in her bedroom looking at the stars as the person she loved and called granddad did things to her that she didn’t know existed.

“Why, why oh why did you let him do it?” Gypsy said out loud looking up at the dark sky with lots of bright and shiny stars. With that she slashed more and more of her wrists with anger and the pain that built up inside her.

Will was meanwhile running around outside shivering as he was only in a vest and some thin bed trousers, but that didn’t matter he was looking for his soul mate. “Gypsy,” he cried out as the snow started falling from the sky, “I love you.”

Gypsy meanwhile was beginning to lose consciousness with the amount of blood that she was losing, but she didn’t care, she was happy she was finally releasing all the pain and hurt she had suffered over the nineteen years she had lived. She took one last gulp of the vodka and with that drifted into unconsciousness.
