Chapter one hundred and twenty five.

Irene walked up the second flight of stairs to the bar and when she arrived she saw Joey, Tiegan, Chloe and Tom sitting down in a corner. “Irene, looking good, who are you trying to impress,” Joey said as he wolf whistled. “What this? It’s just something I threw on,” Irene said as she sat down. “Yeah of course, I always see you wearing a white sleeveless dress,” Chloe said sarcastically. “There’s no harm in me making an effort is there?” Irene said laughing. “And new lipstick?” Chloe said laughing. “Leave me alone!” Irene said laughing. “And is this all for a certain Barry Hyde?” Tiegan said smiling. Irene did a coy smile as she went and ordered herself a drink.

Barry, Kim & Jonathon walked up the stairs and saw them sitting in the corner. Barry’s mouth dropped open when he saw Irene. “Dad, your drooling,” Kim said laughing, “evening, how are we all?” Kim said as sat down next to Chloe. “Come on Barry, don’t just stand their, come and join us,” Irene said laughing, “shall we get some drinks in? What would everyone like?” “Cocktails,” Tiegan and Chloe said in unison. “Surprise, surprise, Kim?” A Beer please,” Kim said smiling sweetly at his dad. “Orange Juice,” Barry chips in. “Spoil sport,” Kim said folding his arms. “Your fifteen Kim,” Barry said laughing. “Please? Just one incy wincey beer?” Kim said smiling. “Fine then,” Barry said giving in. “And what would you like Barry?” Irene said smiling. “I’ll come up with you and decide,” Barry said as he got up of the seat and walked towards the bar. The others laugh. “They so fancy each other,” Tom said as he sipped his beer.

Will, Rachel and Gypsy walk in. “Evening,” Will said smiling at the others. “Irene, looking hot!” Gypsy said smiling, “trying to impress someone are you?” “Oh be quiet,” Irene said laughing. “But there’s someone else giving you a run for their money Irene,” Chloe said as she spotted Rachel in her denim mini skirt and pink crop flowery crop top. “Hey Jonathon,” Rachel said as she sat next to him. “Hi Rachel,” he said shyly. “Young love,” Gypsy said as she sat down. Will looked at her horrified. “Shall I get you two some drinks?” Irene said smiling. “The most alcoholic cocktail for me,” Gypsy said laughing. “And a beer for me please Irene,” Will said smiling.

Sally and Flynn walked up the stairs. “Hey you guys, where have you been?” Hayley said laughing. “Just been hanging out in our bedroom,” Sally said smiling. “Hanging out?” Gypsy said shaking her head. “Yes, hanging out,” Sally said laughing. “Yeah, like we believe that!” Gypsy said laughing. Sally laughed. “Alright mate,” Will said as Flynn sat down with him. “Yep, fine, hungry though!” Flynn said rubbing his stomach. “You would be, you missed an excellent dinner,” Joey said rubbing his stomach. “Never mind! I had dinner of my own!” Flynn said winking at Sally. “I bet you did,” Tiegan said laughing.

Jade and Nick walked up into the bar next. “Hey!” Nick said as he sat down. “Would you like a drink Shortie?” Irene shouted from the bar. “Would I ever!” Nick said laughing. “Jade?” Irene said smiling. “An orange juice, please!” Jade said smiling. “Boring!” Tiegan said as she sipped her cocktail. “I like to remember my nights out!” Jade said laughing. Will and Nick winked at each other. “What are you two winking at each other for?” Gypsy said looking at her husband. “Nothing, just some brotherly secrets,” Will said taping the side of his nose. “Cocktails are served!” Irene said as she put the tray down in the middle of the table.

Kit and Robbie walked up the stairs next and joined them. “Hey!” Joey said as he saw them. “Hi!” Robbie said as he sat down. “Who are all these people?” Sally whispered to Flynn. “If you weren’t so keen to try out the bed, we might of found out,” Flynn whispered back laughing. Kim smiled at Kit. “Hey,” Kim said as he moved up so she could sit down. “Hi,” Kit said looking at him. “Enjoying the holiday, so far?” Kim said as it was the only thing he could think of to say. “Ask me tomorrow after the first 04:30 start!” Kit said smiling at him.

Hayley and Noah walked towards them. “Evening,” Hayley said smiling blissfully. “Evening!” Irene said as she handed Hayley a cocktail and Noah a beer. “Just what I fancied, I’m so thirsty!” Noah said as he laughed with Hayley. “What’s up with you two?” Tiegan said smiling. “Nothing!” Hayley and Noah said together while laughing. “Irene, you look stunning!” Hayley said as she looked at her. “Thanks!” Irene said laughing, “now tell us why you two look so happy?” “No reason,” Hayley and Noah said again as they laughed.

Leah and Vinnie entered from the top deck looking all messy. “Evening!” Vinnie said as he pulled a chair up and sat on it backwards. Leah puts the break on the pushchair and parks it next to a sleeping Lily and Olivia. “What have you two been up to?” Tom said looking at them suspiciously. “Let’s just say, the sun loungers a pretty comfortable!” Vinnie said laughing. “Here, get a cocktail down you!” Gypsy said to Sally as she passed her a drink, “and tell me all about it!”

Beth and Matilda were by the first flight of stairs by the reception. Beth un-strapped Matilda from her wheelchair, and sat her gently down at the bottom of the stairs. “Stay here sweetie, while I’ll take your wheelchair upstairs,” Beth said as she started to walk up the stairs. “I will mum, it’s not like I can go anywhere!” Matilda said as she looked up at her mum. Her mum smiled at her as she carried on walking. When she reached the top, Irene signaled out to her. “Hey, Beth! Come and join us!” Irene said as she waved her hands. “I will in a minute, I’ve just got to carry Matilda up the stairs,” Beth said wearily. “I can do that mum, you stay here,” Robbie said as he got up of the seat. “Thanks Robbie,” Beth said as she sat down.

As Matilda sat down all by herself tears sprung in her eyes, she felt alone, she was nothing but a burden to her family, it was she that made everything go wrong, it was all her fault. Just then Tony, Jack and Lucas arrived. “Hey Maddie!” Tony said smiling. “Hi!” Matilda said as she looked up. “Waiting to go to the bar, are you?” Tony said smiling. “Yeah, mum said she’ll only be a minute, she’s getting the wheelchair set up at the top of the stairs,” Matilda said as she stared at Lucas who was staring at her. “Come one then, I’ll take you up!” Tony said as he walked towards her. “Thank you!” Matilda said as she grabbed hold of Tony’s back as he very gently held her legs. Matilda smiled up at him, she wasn’t being rude when she thought this but she wanted her dad to this more than anything in the world.

When they reached the top Robbie was just coming down. “Oh, thanks Tony, I was just about to do that!” Robbie said as Tony very gently put Matilda in her wheelchair. “No worries!” Tony said as he smiled at Robbie. “Come on sis, lets get you a lemonade!” Robbie said as he pushed Matilda towards the table.

“You know what I’ve just thought of?” Irene said suddenly. “What?” Barry said as he looked up at her lovingly. “What’s happened to Colleen and Alf!” Irene said laughing. “Opps, I forgot about them!” Gypsy said laughing. “I bet their fast asleep in their comfortable flannel knit pajamas!” Vinnie said laughing.

“Come on Alfred, I want a nice glass of sherry before bed!” Colleen said as she walked up the stairs. “Talking of the devils!” Hayley said laughing. “Now I warn you guys, Colleen is very weird and don’t tell her anything, or Madge Wilkins will find out!” Will said as he started to laugh.

Preview: Matilda and Lucas start a friendship! Irene and Barry get closer! Beth and Tony bond! Rachel and Jonathon’s friendship gets serious! Will and Gypsy get hot and bothered! Chloe loses something!

Chapter one hundred and twenty six.

“Evening Colleen!” Irene said as she moved up. “Where have you two been?” Vinnie said laughing. “We went to sleep, we were jetlagged,” Alf said as had a sip of his beer. “Sure you were Stewie! I believe you thousands wouldn’t!” Vinnie said laughing. Alf laughed. “You have a foul mind, Vinnie!” Alf said laughing.

Half an hour after everyone had met for a drink, the bar turned into a nightclub. “Ohhh, we can dance!” Irene said laughing. “Are you sure those are non alcoholic cocktails?” Chloe said laughing as took a sip of hers. “Of course they are! Now who wants a boogie?” Irene said as she stood up. “I’m sure dad would love a dance!” Kim said as he nudged his father. “Come on then Baz! Lets show these youngsters how to dance!” Irene said as she grabbed his hand.

Gypsy, Chloe, Sally, Hayley, Kit, Tiegan and Leah were in their own little corner away from the boys. “So what were you smiling about Hayley?” Gypsy said as she winked. “Well…” Hayley said looking around at the others. “Well what?” Sally said excitedly. “Noah and I…” Hayley started off again. “Noah and you what?” Tiegan said as she moved closer.

“So what are you smiling about?” Will said as he looked at Noah. “Nothing!” Noah said as took a sip of his beer. “Really? That’s why you’ve had that cheesy grin slapped on your face all evening!” Nick said laughing. “There’s only one thing that makes a man smile like that,” Vinnie said smiling. “And what’s that?” Kim said smiling. “You’ve got laid,” Vinnie said laughing.

Beth and Tony were sitting by themselves drinking their drinks. “You ok?” Tony asked as he looked at Beth’s washed up face. “Yeah, of course I am,” Beth said as she looked at him. “You don’t look it,” Tony said looking at her. “Well I wouldn’t look ok, would I?” Beth said shrugging her shoulders. “Why? Is it Maddie?” Tony said as he moved closer to Beth. “It’s my whole life, my whole life is just one big fat, messy pile of steamy crap,” Beth said as tears filled her eyes. “How can you say that?” Tony said looking at her, “you have three beautiful children.” “You don’t know the half of it,” Beth said looking up at him. “Then tell me,” Tony said as he moved closer to her.

Lucas and Matilda were talking at the other end of the bar. “Are you going to come swimming with us tomorrow afternoon, on the top deck?” Lucas asked sweetly. Matilda shakes her head. “Why?” Lucas asks disappointedly. “Because I can’t swim,” Matilda said as tears filled up her eyes. “Jack and I can teach you, we’re great swimmers,” Lucas said smiling. Matilda smiled at him. “That’s really sweet of you, but I’ll only ruin your fun,” Matilda said as she looked at him. “Stay right there,” Lucas said as he ran off. “I can’t go anywhere, anyway,” Matilda said sadly.

Rachel and Jonathon were dancing next to Barry and Irene. “My dad so fancies your grandma,” Jonathon said laughing. Rachel laughed. “You think them two are bad, wait until you really get to know the others,” Rachel said laughing. “Why?” Jonathon said curiously. “Trust me, they are sex maniacs,” Rachel said shaking her head. “Even your parents?” Jonathon said mouth open wide in shock. “My parents are the worst!” Rachel said laughing, “now stop talking and spin me around, buster!”

“You know how you guys are really experienced?” Hayley said looking at them. “Experienced at what?” Tiegan said looking at Hayley weirdly. “Sex,” Hayley said whispering it out. “Aren’t we all?” Gypsy said laughing. “Not really,” Hayley said getting all embarrassed. “What do you mean, not really?” Chloe said looking at her suspiciously. “Alright, I lost my virginity tonight,” Hayley said going bright red. “OH MY ****ING GOD!” all the girls said in unison.

“So Noah, tell us the details,” Joey said smiling. “That’s my sister, I don’t want to hear about her screaming out in delight thank you very much,” Will said covering his ears. “But its ok for your brother to hear you,” Nick said laughing, “you scarred me for life, bro!” Nick said laughing. “We’re not talking about Gypsy’s and I’s brilliant sex life,” Will said laughing. “So Noah, was she worth the wait?” Tom said laughing. “She blew me away!” Noah said smiling at the memory. “In what why did she blew you away?” Jack said laughing. “Very funny! Not in that way!” Noah said laughing.

Irene and Barry were dancing. “So you enjoying the holiday?” Barry asked as he shook his bottom to Club Tropicana by Wham! “Absolutely,” Irene said smiling as she moved her hands to the beat of the music. “You are one crazy party animal,” Barry said laughing. “Wait until you see me in the bedroom,” Irene said winking. Barry laughed. “Irene Roberts, you’re a woman in a million you know?” Barry said laughing. “Shut up Barry and dance with me,” Irene said as she bumped his bum with hers.

Tony and Beth were still in their hideaway, talking. “When Matilda was born I knew there was a problem, she didn’t move her legs, but no one would tell me what was going on,” Beth said as she looked right into the distance, not looking at Tony. “What has Matilda got?” Tony asked gently. “Dyspraxia, it affects her muscles, she gets tired so easily,” Beth said as she turned to look at Tony. “It must be hard for you,” Tony said sympathetically. “It is, but its easier now, than it was back then,” Beth said as anger took over her tears. “What do you mean?” Tony asked confused. “My husband walked out on me six weeks after she was born, just upped and left,” Beth said as she screwed up the tissue that was in her hand. “He did what?” Tony said in dismay. “He packed his bags, didn’t even tell me face to face, left a note in Matilda’s cot, saying that he wanted a divorce so he could marry his mistress,” Beth said as her eyes narrowed together in anger and frustration. “That bastard,” Tony whispered as he looked over at his stunning daughter who was looking so miserable and sad. “Then I found out he had three children with this woman while he was married to me, the oldest one is 30,” Beth said looking down at her feet the sadness overcoming her body again. “How could he do that to you?” Tony said still shaking his head, he never felt like this before, he felt angry, he just wanted to go and punch this bloke. “The saddest thing is, Matilda loves him so much, but he treats her like ****,” Beth said shaking her head, “seeing her get so upset over him, breaks my heart,” Beth said as the tears rolled freely down her face, but as the rolled down, Tony quickly wiped them away.

As the night turned into the morning and everyone was asleep ready for their first full day, wondering if it was going to be better than their first evening, some were even wondering if they could wake up! But one things for sure, the first day was going to be great, well it has to be with all of them together, doesn’t it?
