Chapter one hundred and forty three.

Everyone was sitting by the pool in their swimming costumes, even Matilda this time. “What’s your plan then Lucas,” Matilda asked as Lucas came and sat next to her. “We just need to show them how much fun they can have together,” Lucas said smiling at her. “Mum hasn’t had fun for ages,” Matilda said sadly. “Well the Holden boys know how to have fun,” Lucas said smiling as he looked at Matilda. “Come on then, lets get this plan into action,” Matilda said as she looked at him and smiled, she felt like she had known him all of her short life.

Sally was lying on the sun lounger looking over at everyone who was fast asleep and snoring. She saw Flynn look over at her and she got up and walked towards him, feeling the emotion rise up inside her. “We need to talk,” Sally said as she sat down on his sun lounger. “Sally, I am so sorry,” Flynn whispered as he touched her face and wiped away the tears.

“Hayley, I can’t lie to you anymore,” Noah said as he looked up at her. “What is it Noah?” Hayley said as she looked at him worriedly. “Flynn told us ages ago about Tina’s baby,” Noah said looking away from Hayley as he said it. “And why didn’t you tell me?” Hayley said as she looked at him the anger showing in her eyes. “I promised Flynn,” Noah said as he turned around quickly. “Noah, I don’t mind that you didn’t tell me before Sally found out, because that would be horrible, I’m angry at the fact that when she did know, you didn’t tell me,” Hayley said looking at him with hurt in his eyes. “I’m so sorry Hayley,” Noah said as he took her hand. “Noah, just don’t,” Hayley said as she pulled her hand away, and walked towards the swimming pool.

“Joey, we need to talk,” Tiegan said as she sat up and looked at her boyfriend. “Tiegan,” Joey said as he sat up and looked at her in her stunning red triangle bikini. “Joey, ever since I told you what Leah thought, you’ve been acting weird around me,” Tiegan said as tears filled her ears. “It was just a shock that’s all,” Joey said as he looked at her and smiled. “Do you still love me,” Tiegan whispered insecurely. “Tiegan, how can you ask such a question? Of course I love you, you’re the one that makes me feel normal, the one that makes me Joey Rainbow,” Joey said as he walked over to Tiegan. “You soppy git,” Tiegan said as she wrapped his arms around her and picked her up and wrapped her legs around his body. “Fancy a dip?” Joey asked as he walked towards the swimming pool. He didn’t wait for an answer he just jumped in the pool.

Kit was lying on her sun lounger when Kim walk past with his swimming trunks she peered over her sunglasses and wolf whistled at him. Kim turned around and smiled at her. “Fancy a swim? Or are you scared, I’ll beat you,” Kim said as he folded his arms. “In your dreams pretty boy,” Kit said as she took of her t-shirt to reveal her swimming costume. Kit jumped in the pool followed by Kim. “The first one to reach the end,” Kit said looking at Kim. “What does the loser have to do?” Kim said looking at her laughing. “Kiss Jack,” Kit said laughing. “No way! I’m not kissing another bloke,” Kim said shaking his head. “Scared, your going to lose,” Kit said laughing. “No way!” Kim said as he started swimming. Kim was half way across the pool when Kit came up behind him and pulled his swimming trunks down. “Nice butt,” Kit said as she laughed. Kim turned around and gently leaned in for a kiss which Kit very happily obliged.

Irene and Barry were cuddling on one sun lounger. “Barry,” Irene said as she poked him in the stomach. “Hmmm,” Barry said sleepily. “What’s going to happen when the holiday is finished and we have to go back home, you to Queensland and me to Summer Bay,” Irene said as she looked into his eyes. “Irene, I’m mad about you, no matter how far apart we are, I’ll come and see you every weekend, we can make this work,” Barry said as he leant in and kissed her on the lips. “Oh Barry,” Irene said as she put her arms around him. “Fancy a swim?” Barry asked as whipped his T-shirt off to reveal his manly hairy chest. “Try and stop me,” Irene said as she ran towards the pool and jumped in followed by Barry.

“How is this going to work Flynn?” Sally asked sadly as she looked up at him. “It will work, if the child is mine, I won’t abandon it,” Flynn said as he grabbed her hand. “I know and I wouldn’t want you too, but what’s if you and Tina fall in love again,” Sally asked worriedly. “That will never happen, because I love you so much it hurts,” Flynn said as he kissed her hand. “I love you too Flynn, I have ever since I saw you in the diner with Vinnie, ever since you touched my arm when I dropped the keys to the caravan, and when I saw you kiss Tina when you came round for Vinnie it broke my heart, when we kissed at Vinnie’s party I felt the last piece of the jigsaw was in place,” Sally said as the tears rolled down her cheeks. “Sally, we can work through this, I know we can, I want to marry you and have children with you, I want us to grow old together, I want us to sit on the beach eating Colleen’s foul fish and chips,” Flynn said as the tears rolled down his face. “I love you Flynn,” Sally said as she hugged him, she didn’t want to let go of him.

Lucas and Matilda looked at each other winked, this was it, they were going to put there plan into action now. Lucas got up and walked towards his dad who was lying on his back fast asleep. “Dad,” Lucas said as he sat down on the edge of his sun lounger. “Yes Lucas,” Tony said sleepily. “Let’s go for a swim,” Lucas said as he grabbed Tony’s arm to pull him up. “Not now Lucas,” Tony said sleepily. “DAD! Stop being so boring it’s the holiday’s and there’s a swimming pool,” Lucas said as he pulled his dad up. “Fine Lucas,” Tony said admitting defeat.

Matilda pushed herself towards her mum. “Come on mum, lets go in the pool,” Matilda said as she looked at her pleadingly. “I don’t think so Maddie,” Beth said as she turned the page over of her book. “Stop being so boring mum, your Jackie Collins book can wait, come and take me swimming,” Matilda said as took the book out of her mum’s hand and put it down on the floor.

Jack walked past Matilda, and picked her up so she could go swimming. “Your not scared this time are you?” Jack asked as he sat down by the edge of the pool. “No, because I know you would never in a million years drop me,” Matilda said as he put her armbands on her. “Really?” Jack said with a glint in his eye. Jack then quickly let go of her and chucked her into the swimming pool.

Lucas jumped into the pool as did Jack as Matilda buoyed up to the surface. “You bloody bastard,” Matilda said as she looked at Jack, but she burst into laughter instead. “Language Matilda,” Lucas said as he put his arms around her back and lifted her up gently. “You guys cut it out,” Jack said as made a loud splash towards them. “OI!” Lucas and Matilda said together, as the looked at each other and splashed him back.

Beth walked around the edge of the pool in her red halter neck swimming costume. Tony walked up behind her in his blue swimming trunks and smiles at her. “Taking a dip?” Tony asked as he sat down on the edge of the pool. “Yeah, I got dragged into it by Matilda,” Beth said laughing, “but it looks like she is having a whale of a time with your boys.” Tony laughed. “We could always join them?” Tony said as he jumped in the pool. “No, I’ll just watch thanks,” Beth said as she sat down, so her legs were dangling in the water. Tony didn’t answer he just grabbed her arms and pulled her in. “TONY!” Beth screamed as she hit the water.

As the minutes passed Beth and Tony were beginning to muck about much more in the water. Beth swam up to Lucas and picked him up and held him upside down. “Owww,” Lucas said as he started to laugh. “Tell me when you’ve had enough,” Tony said as he started to tickle Matilda as she laid on her back floating. “Stop, please,” Matilda said as she was crying with laughter.

As Kit walked out of the swimming pool with Kim to dry herself off so they could head to the bedroom, she heard her mum’s phone ringing, she answers it as she doesn’t want to spoil mum’s happiness. “Hello?” Kit says as she sits down on the sun lounger. “Hi Kit, it’s dad here,” John says through the phone. “Who? Sorry I don’t know anyone called dad,” Kit said the anger building up in her voice. “Kit, don’t be like that,” John said as he sounded desperate through the phone. “Is there a point to this phone call, or do you just want to ruin our lives more than you have already?” Kit said as she looked over at Beth who was chasing Tony around the pool. “Is your mother there?” John said getting angry. “No she isn’t,” Kit said as she looked at the pool again and this time she saw Tony and Jack holding Matilda up in the end and then dropping her suddenly and catching her before she falls into the water. “Where is she?” John said bewildered. “She’s having fun, something she never had with you,” Kit said as she was beginning to twist the knife in. “Can you just get her,” John snapped. “No I can’t sorry, she’s having so much fun in the swimming pool, with her hot new man, Matilda loves him too, he’s doing stuff that you should be doing you know, taking her swimming, helping her around, he’s a really nice guy,” Kit said still twisting the knife in. “She’s met a man?” John said shocked. “Oh yeah, Tony’s lovely, anyway I have to go, Tony wants us all to have a family photo,” Kit said lying through her teeth. Kit hang up smiling to herself. “Take that daddy dearest,” Kit whispered as she ran towards Kim laughing.

Ok, I wasn't reading this fic (for some reason whick I really don't know ) but now I have read it all (it took me quite a while) and I love it! Your writings great and I cant wait for the next chapter, I am officially addicted!
