Sorry this isn't too good, I'm having a difficult time at the moment

Chapter one hundred and forty five.

Irene walked up the stairs wearing her black boob tube dress and gold dangly earrings. Irene sat on the stools by the bar. “What can I get you?” the bar man asks Irene. “Oh a non alcoholic cocktail, please,” Irene said as she looked over at the stairs. “There you go,” the barman says as he places the glass in front of Irene. “Thank you,” Irene says as she walks over to the table in the corner. “You couldn’t even order me one?” Barry says as he sits down next to her and kisses her on the cheek.

Beth entered the bar wearing a silver vest top and a long black skirt. “Look at you Beth,” Irene said as she saw her enter the top of the stairs, “who are you trying to impress?” “No one,” Beth said coyly. “Really?” Irene said raising her eyebrows up. Beth didn’t answer she went over to the bar. “How can I help you?” the barman asked. “I’d like your most alcoholic cocktail, please,” Beth said as she smiled at him.

Tony, Lucas and Jack carrying Matilda walked up to the bar, as Jack and Lucas helped Matilda back into her wheelchair. “So can you recommend a good drink?” Tony said as he joined Beth at the bar. “I’m having something called, Paradise Hills,” Beth said as she looked into his eyes. “Sounds good to me,” Tony said as he laughed. “Can you make that two Paradise Hills,” Beth said as she smiled at Tony.

“Noah, speak to me please?” Hayley asked as she walked up the stairs following Noah. “Hayley, lets just not argue about it here, we don’t want to ruin the evening now, do we?” Noah asked as he walked towards the bar. “Men!” Hayley screamed as she sat down next to Irene.

Kim and Jonathon walked towards the bar and ordered a beer and an orange juice, and then went to sit down with Jack, Lucas & Matilda. “Hey guys,” Kim said as he sat down next to Jack. “Hi,” Jack said as he took a sip of his beer. “Have I missed any juicy gossip?” Kim asked as he knocked his beer back. “Just how my brother and Matilda are plotting to get dad and Beth together,” Jack said laughing. “I wonder what’s keeping Rachel?” Jonathon said as he kept watching the stairs. “Ignore him, he has one hell of a crush,” Kim said laughing. “I’m not the only one, what about you getting your freak on with Kit,” Jonathon retaliated. “Am I the only one, who hasn’t had any action?” Jack said as he looked around the group.

Will, Gypsy carrying Lily and Rachel walked up the stairs, Gypsy headed to the bar straight away. “Gypsy is being so childish,” Will said as he sat down next to Hayley. “For Gods sake dad, you really are childish, stop blaming each other and go and sort it out, your 19 not 9, I for one don’t want to see you until you sort things out,” Rachel said as she ran towards Jonathon. “Whose the parent?” Irene said laughing. Will looked at Irene and laughed.

Sally and Flynn walked up to Gypsy at the bar, who was knocking back her fourth cocktail. “Whoa, take it easy,” Sally said as she put her hand on Gypsy’s shoulder. “I’m such an idiot,” Gypsy said suddenly. “What?” Flynn and Sally say in unison, confused. Gypsy didn’t answer she just ran down the stairs as quickly as she could.

Half an hour had passed and everyone was getting merrier and merrier. “Who fancies another drink?” Beth said slurring slightly. “Don’t you think you’ve had enough mum?” Kit said laughing as she sipped her cocktail. “Oh no sweetie, tonight, I’m going to enjoy myself,” Beth said as knocked back her fifth Paradise Hill. “You know what?” Leah said as she leaned on the wall, as she squinted at the bright lights. “Didn’t he invent the light bulb?” Beth said laughing at her own joke. “We need Tequila slammers!” Tiegan said as she ran towards the bar.

Rachel, Jonathon, Lucas and Matilda were sitting in their own corners. “Who wants to play truth or dare?” Rachel asked as she looked at Jonathon. “I’m in,” Jonathon said as he looked at Rachel with a cheeky smile. “I don’t know,” Lucas says looking at them. “Stop being so boring,” Rachel said as she rolled her eyes at him. “Matilda, you can go first,” Rachel said as she looked at her. “Fine,” Matilda said as she looked at Rachel. “Truth or dare?” Rachel said looking at her. “Truth,” Matilda said looking at her. “Do you fancy Lucas?” Rachel said looking at her. “I can’t answer that,” Matilda said going bright red. “You have too,” Rachel said laughing. “Ok, I do,” Matilda said going bright red. “Aww,” Rachel and Jonathon said in unison. “Ok then Rachel, truth or dare?” Jonathon said staring at Rachel. “Dare!” Rachel said folding her arms smugly. “I dare you to steal at least three alcoholic drinks from our parents table,” Jonathon said smugly. “Deal,” Rachel said shaking his hand.

Tiegan came back with a tray full of Tequila slammers. “Drink’s are served,” Tiegan said as she put the tray down on the table. Beth took her little glass slammed it down on the table and knocked it back all in one. “Beth Hunter, your quite a party animal, when you get going aren’t you?” Irene said laughing. “Irene, this is nothing,” Beth said as she took her second slammer.

Gypsy walked up the stairs wearing her black leather boob tube dress. “Holy mother of God,” Jack said as his mouth dropped open when he saw her. “Well, you can certainly keep your hands off her, she’s mine,” Will said as he got up quickly. “What’s a good looking guy like you, doing in a place like this,” Gypsy said as she put her arm around his shoulder. “I’m waiting for someone to sweep me off my feet and I think I might of just found the girl,” Will said as he leans in and snogs her passionately.

Beth and Irene were walking out of the toilets laughing. “You did it in a temple?” Beth said laughing hysterically. “Well what can I say Beth, I just made Barry want me so much, he couldn’t control himself,” Irene said laughing. “How I wish a man would do that to me,” Beth said as stopped walking and stared at Tony. “Well, you and Tony seem to be hitting it off,” Irene said as she looked at Beth quizzically. “Well, he is very attractive,” Beth said smiling at Irene. “Get in there girly,” Irene said as she looked around and saw the bar changing into the disco, as it did every night at eleven.

‘I want to dance with somebody’ by Whitney Houston came on as the first song Beth and Irene looked at other and smiled. Irene and Beth got up onto the bar and grabbed a vodka bottle from the top and started singing at the top of their voices. “What the hell is mother doing?” Robbie said looking up in amazement. “I want to dance with somebody, I want to feel heat with somebody, with somebody who loves me,” Beth and Irene sang in unison as they shimmied up and down the bar.

“Leah,” Vinnie shouted over the music. Leah looked at him and she wanted to melt in his arms and say he was forgiven. “What?” Leah said trying to soften her tone of voice. “Leah, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you,” Vinnie said as he turned her head so she was facing him, “Leah, I love you and I don’t want this fight to ruin our holiday because when I see you in the morning looking out the window and smiling as the sun rises my heart misses a beat, Leah Patterson I love you.” Leah looked at him and tears filled her eyes. “I love you too,” Leah said as she leaned in and kissed him on the lips. Vinnie looked at her lovingly and picked her up and pulled her over his shoulder. “Vinnie, what are you doing?” Leah said as she laughed. “Me and you baby are going to have a boogie,” Vinnie said as he put her down on the dance floor and spun her around.

“Now Rachel,” Jonathon said as he looked at her seriously, “you’ve got to do your dare!” Rachel looked at him and smiled coyly slipped down of the chair and crawled under the seats to where the adults were sitting she sat under the table, waiting to make her move.

“Joey, lets dance,” Tiegan said as she looked at him romantically. “With my coordination?” Joey said looking at her as he laughed. Tiegan didn’t answer him she led him to the dance floor and put her arms around his neck. “I love you Tiegan Brooks,” Joey whispered as he leant in and snogged her.

Hayley and Noah looked at each other at the table. “I’m sorry,” Noah and Hayley said together. “If Flynn and Sally can move on, so can we,” Noah said as he pushed her hair out of her eyes. “Noah, I’m so sorry for being a moody cow,” Hayley said as she looked into his eyes. “And I’m sorry for lying,” Noah said as he kissed her on the lips, “can you forgive me?” “There’s one way I will forgive you,” Hayley said winking. “Oh yeah, what’s that?” Noah said smiling. “Take me down to the cabin and you’ll find out,” Hayley said as stood up holding his hands. Noah picked her up and carried her down the stairs.

Nick and Jade were walking outside. “Are you looking forward to telling your parents?” Nick asked as he put his arm around her. “Are you mad? Dad will try and kill you,” Jade said as she looked up at him. “Yeah, but he hasn’t got my secret weapon,” Nick said laughing. “What’s that then?” Jade asked curiously. “Gypsy,” Nick said smiling. Jade laughed. “Names?” Jade asked as she looked overboard. “Irene after my mum for a girl and Nick for a boy,” Nick said smiling at Jade. “Nick? After you?” Jade said laughing. “Of course after me, there’s no better name out there for my heir,” Nick said laughing. “Nick your not a king,” Jade said laughing. “Come here gorgeous,” Nick said as he pulled Jade in for a hug and kissed her passionately.

I want to stand with you on a mountain.

I want to lay like this forever.

Rachel who was still under the table realised no one was there, she put her arm out to feel for any glasses she felt one and grabbed it quickly and knocked back the drink in one go, Rachel coughed as the liquid touched the back of her throat. Jonathon who was sitting with Matilda and Lucas heard the cough and crawled to where she was. “Well done Rachel, lets get some more,” Jonathon said as he looked at her with a glint in his eyes.

Barry led Irene to the dance floor, she put her arms around his neck and he put his arms around her waist. “Irene Roberts you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” Barry whispered in her ear. “Barry Hyde, I love you,” Irene whispered in his ear. “Irene Roberts, I love you too,” Barry said as he lent in and kissed her gently on the lips.

And when the stars are shining brightly in the velvet sky,

The tears of joy for all the pleasure in the certainty.

“Beth, I don’t suppose you want to dance with me do you?” Tony asked nervously. “Of course I would,” Beth said as she put her arms around him. “You are beautiful you know,” Tony said as he looked into her eyes. “No I’m not,” Beth said as she looked into his eyes as well. “Your ex husband doesn’t know what he has given away, because if you were mine I would treat you like a queen,” Tony said as he smiled at her. He very gently lent in and kissed her on the lips.

The highest powers. In lonely hours. The tears devour you..

Matilda and Lucas were looking on, watching their parents dance together. “It worked,” Lucas said smiling. “I know,” Matilda said sadly. “What’s wrong? Aren’t you happy?” Lucas asked concerned. “Not really,” Matilda said sighing. “Why?” Lucas said looking at her. “I want to dance, and I can’t” Matilda said looking at him with tears in her eyes. “Who said you can’t?” Lucas said with his hands on his hips. “Well if I can’t walk, I won’t be able to dance,” Matilda said looking at him, “Georgia always teases me how she can dance like a ballerina and I can’t.” Lucas didn’t say anything he just got up and undid her seatbelt and very gently grabbed her hand. “Lucas, what are you doing?” Matilda whispered. Lucas didn’t speak he just very gently lifted her up and wrapped his arms around her waist and swayed to the music. She looked into his eyes and smiled, as she did he very gently kissed her on the lips.
