Chapter one hundred and forty six.

Irene turned over as the alarm went off, she groaned as she put her hand over her forehead. “Surely you don’t have a hangover?” Barry asked as he rolled over to face her. “I shouldn’t do, as I only drink non alcoholic cocktails,” Irene said as turned around to look at Barry. “I bet Beth’s paying for it this morning, when we left her she was singing ‘I will survive’ around her handbag,” Barry said laughing. “Well, I for one are happy that she was smiling last night,” Irene said as she walked into the bathroom, “She’s been miserable far too long and anyway with Tony beside her, she shouldn’t be sad.” Barry walked into the bathroom. “Do you have a crush on Tony, Irene?” Barry said smirking at her. “Is my Bazzy wazzy jealous,” Irene said in a childish voice while pulling his cheek. “Jealous? Me never, I know you only have eyes for me,” Barry said with a cheeky grin on his face. “You and Brad Pitt,” Irene said as she put her arms around his neck.

Beth rolled over and opened her eyes and instead of seeing Matilda lying next to her snoring, she saw Tony looking down on her. “Holy mother of God,” Beth whispered as she looked up at him as she covered her mouth. “Good morning too you, too,” Tony said laughing. “I’m sorry, I’m just in shock,” Beth said laughing. “Why’s that then, was I that good?” Tony said smiling. Beth looked up at him and laughed. “I can’t remember, you may have to do it again,” Beth said as she looked into his eyes, and rolled on top of him. “ What about breakfast?” Tony said as he leant in to kiss her. “Stuff breakfast,” Beth said as she laughed as his hand went under the duvet cover.

Tiegan woke up to find Joey sitting on the bed staring at her. “Why are you staring at me, am I drooling?” Tiegan asked as she looked at him suspiciously. “No, I just like watching you sleeping,” Joey said as he got up as he laughed, “are you OK?” “Yeah, I’m fine, I must of drunk too much last night,” Tiegan said as she got out of bed. Joey looked at her worriedly, Tiegan didn’t look her normal self, she looked washed out and pale.

Lucas woke up to see Jack running around the room looking for his shirt. “Morning,” Lucas said as he rubbed his eyes, “where’s dad?” “Trust me you don’t want to know,” Jack said laughing. “Why?” Lucas said smiling up at his older elder brother. “Lets just say I imagine Beth and dad know each other pretty well,” Jack said laughing. “Does that mean I’ll get a mum?” Lucas said excitedly. “Hold your horses Lucas,” Jack said smiling, “just give them time.”

Matilda woke up to see Kit and Robbie running around the room. “Why am I here? Where’s mum?” Matilda asked confused. Kit and Robbie looked at each other and laughed. “I don’t think mum wanted you to cramp her style last night,” Robbie said laughing. “What do you mean?” Matilda asked confused. “He means, you know mum and Tony looked pretty close last night?” Kit said as she sat down on the bed and looked at her sister. “Do you mean mum and Tony spent the night together?” Matilda asked laughing. Kit and Robbie looked at each other and laughed. “I so can’t wait to rub it in dads face,” Kit said as she walked into the bathroom.

Rachel was in the bathroom being sick. “Rachel love, are you ok?” Gypsy asked as she banged on the bathroom door. “Mummy,” Rachel cried as she heaved in the bowl again. “I’m coming in sweetie,” Gypsy said as she walked into the bathroom. “Mummy, I don’t feel too well,” Rachel said as she looked up at Gypsy. “Oh baby,” Gypsy said as she rubbed her back, “Have you drank any water from the taps?” Rachel nodded, so she wouldn’t get trouble over stealing the tequila slammers. “Is she OK?” Will asked as he banged on the door. “I don’t think we can go on the trip today lets put it that way,” Gypsy said as she cleaned up a sickly Rachel. “Oh that is a shame, I was so looking forward to it as well,” Will said sarcastically as went back to bed smirking.

Jonathon was in the bathroom trying not to be sick when Kim knocked on the door. “Jonathon, are you OK?” Kim asked as rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. “Yeah,” Jonathon said weakly. “Do you want me to get dad?” Kim asked as knocked on the door again. “Do you really want to walk in on Irene and dad getting their freak on?” Jonathon asked trying to laugh but couldn’t as his head hurt too much. “Not really, that’s a sight that will scar me for life,” Kim said laughing as he walked towards his wardrobe, “now tell me why are you feeling so sick?” “I just saw your ugly mug this morning, not something I enjoy,” Jonathon shouted through the door. “Your going to pay for that comment mister,” Kim said laughing.

Jade and Nick were in the dining room eating their breakfast. “Are my eyes deceiving me, or is Jade Sutherland eating?” Nick said laughing. Jade laughed. “I’m eating and I’m feeling great, I think the morning sickness has stopped,” Jade said as she took a bite of her croissant. “That’s great, I was thinking last night,” Nick said as he looked into her eyes. “That’s dangerous,” Jade said smirking at him. “OI!” Nick said as he threw a bit of his croissant at her. “OK then I’m sorry, what were you thinking?” Jade asked laughing. “I was thinking with Will moving out to live with Tom and Gypsy,” Nick began while looking at Jade smiling, “maybe I can move in his room downstairs with you of course, and we can have a play room in my old room, what do you think?” Jade looked at him and smiled. “I think it’s a fantastic idea, me, you and baby big head,” Jade said as she looked at him with a twinkle in her eye. “Baby big head?” Nick said looking at her like she was mad. “Yeah, I can imagine your son being like you, thinking he is the best looking, the greatest pool player, the funniest guy in the world, just like his father,” Jade said laughing. Nick looked at her and smiled. “I love you so much,” Nick said as leaned across and kissed her gently on the lips.

Noah, Hayley, Vinnie, Leah, Sally, Flynn, Chloe and Tom were waiting in the reception for the others. “I can’t believe Irene got up on the bar last night, you wouldn’t think she was in her fifties,” Chloe said laughing. “And what about Beth, she was hysterical last night, she certainly looked like she was enjoying Tony’s company,” Leah said smiling. “She was, I saw her and Tony snogging on the stairs last night,” Hayley said laughing. “You nosey cow,” Noah said looking at Hayley amazed. “I’m not nosey,” Hayley said adamant. “Ohhh, it looks like we have new guests,” Flynn said suddenly.

A man and a woman entered the boat with the rep. There was a man and a woman with their four children. “Amanda honey, is Georgia OK?” John asked as he looked at his wife. “She’s so tired bless her,” Amanda said as she picked up her three year old daughter.

Kit, Robbie, Jack carrying Matilda and Lucas walked down the stairs, Kit stared at the new guests in shock. “Kit love,” John said smiling at her. “What are you doing here?” Kit said as she looked at him with disgust. “Aren’t you going to say hello to your dad?” John asked laughing.

A delightful story Penny, which I enjoy very much. King Tutankhamun's tomb will never seem the same again I might add. In fact I have asked my husband to take me to Egypt for our next holiday. I shall look forward to reading the forthcoming chapters.
