Chapter one hundred and sixty five – Amanda’s just desserts

“I really hope Tiegan’s OK,” Kit said as she laid down on her bed with her family and her extended family. “She’ll be fine love, she’s a fighter,” Tony said as she looked at Kits face. “Amanda’s so going to pay for this,” Kit said through gritted teeth. “Love, is that wise I mean fighting is what got us into this mess,” Tony said softly. “I know, I know,” Kit said as she put her head down on the pillow. “You know what you need some pampering,” Jack said as he ran out of Kit’s room. “What is he on?” Kit said laughing. Tony laughed. “I’ve been wondering that for years!” Tony said laughing.

Joey was sitting by Tiegan’s bed holding her hand as the machines breathed for her. “I was thinking maybe we could get married on a beach with lots of palm trees, it will just be a lovely day, no complications, no over the top styles, no top hats or tails, just a relaxed wedding with our friends and family, how do you like the sound of that?” Joey asked as he looked around at his family. “Sounds great, love,” Irene said as she smiled at him, a sign that he was to keep talking to her.

Colleen and Alf were in their room looking after Olivia, Lily, Rachel & VJ. “I hope Tiegan’s OK,” Colleen said as she put VJ off to sleep. “She’s a fighter, she’ll be fine, but that Amanda girl, well what can I say?” Alf said shaking her head. “And poor Gypsy having to watch her best friend get stabbed like that,” Colleen said as she looked into Lily’s Moses basket. “After everything that girl has been through as well,” Alf said as checked Rachel was still asleep in their bed. “Does this make you think of when your kids were this small?” Colleen asked as she sat down exhaustedly. “Well, I would of done lots of things differently, especially with Duncan,” Alf said thinking about his youngest son. “I wouldn’t of let my Lancie hang around that Martin Dibble,” Colleen said as she looked into Olivia’s car set. “Strewth Colleen, you and that Martin Dibble, I’m beginning to think you had your eyes on him,” Alf said laughing. “Alf Stewart, how could you say such a thing?” Colleen asked laughing.

Matilda and Lucas were up on the top deck looking at the river on the warm still night. “Are you alright Mattie, you haven’t said a word all evening,” Lucas asked as he looked up at her. “I’m OK,” Matilda said quietly. “Well that’s a lie,” Lucas said laughing. “This is all my fault,” Matilda said sadly. “How do you work that out?” Lucas asks confused. “Tiegan, Gypsy and Kit were sticking up for me, and then someone gets stabbed, its my fault,” Matilda said as the tears flowed from her eyes. “Oh Matilda, its so not your fault,” Lucas said as he put his arms around her, “it so isn’t your fault.”

Jack came running back in Kits room with two boxes and a case. “What the hell?” Robbie asked confused. “Right then Kit Hunter, you are a getting a Jack Holden make over!” Jack said in an American accent. Kit laughed hysterically. “Oh Jack you do make me laugh,” Kit said laughing. “Right then Kit, put your feet in here,” Jack said as he bought out a foot spa. “You took a foot spa on holiday with you?” Kit asked confused. “Kit, he doesn’t leave it behind if he’s going more than five miles from his house,” Tony asked laughing. “What’s that smell?” Kit asked as she smelt the water. “Peppermint, helps you to relax and his great for hard skin,” Jack said as he turned the machine on. “How the hell did you know that?” Kit asked bewildered. Jack winked at her and walked back into the bathroom.

“And Vinnie can walk you down the aisle,” Joey said as he continued to talk about the wedding, “and you’ll have loads of bridesmaids wearing casual loose clothes, Will and Nick will be my best men, and you’ll have a lovely little bump which will be our little baby.” Just then Tiegan started to cough and Joey called out for someone to help her get the tubes out of her throat.

There was a knock on Amanda and John’s door and it was the police. “Are you Amanda Hunter?” the police officer asked. “Yes,” Amanda said stuttering. “Amanda Hunter I’m arresting you on the attempted murder of Tiegan Brooks, you don’t have to say anything but anything you do say will be used as evidence in a court of law,” the policemen said as he handcuffed Amanda and led her away.

Thats it Tiegan wake up. Lucas and Maddie were so sweet (but hey Im a sucker for them) I cant wait for more Penny its fantastic.

Yep...keep it coming Penny....poor Joey though....and I hope the police throw away the key and Amanda stays in jail for ever ........not that I am biased against her or anything....
