Chapter one hundred and sixty seven.

“Your proposing?” Tiegan asked shocked. “Nah, he’s just dumped you!” Nick said sarcastically. “Oh ha-ha,” Tiegan said as she looked into Joeys eyes. “So?” Joey asked nervously. “What do you think?” Tiegan asked weakly smiling. “Is that a yes?” Joey asked smiling. “Of course it is, you daft thing, I love you,” Tiegan said as she hugged him with tears rolling down her eyes.

As night fell and everyone was back on the boat except Joey who slept beside his new fiancés side. They weren’t asleep, they couldn’t they were upstairs talking about the nights events, in the bar.

“How is she?” Tony asked as he saw Beth entered with all the others. “She’s alive, awake and engaged,” Beth said as she sat down exhaustedly. “I don’t know about you lot, but I could do with a stiff drink,” Tom said as he walked towards the 24 hour bar. “I couldn’t agree more,” Will said as he collapsed on the seat next to Gypsy.

“Jack, are you serious?” Kit said looking at him. “Yeah, I know it’s a shock,” Jack said looking at her. “A shock? Jack I knew you were as bent as anything the moment I saw you,” Kit said laughing. “Oh!” Jack said shocked. “Jack, you know what, come out, you can’t hide it forever, its nothing to be ashamed off, you fancy boys, big whoop” Kit said laughing. “You think?” Jack asked not sure. “Jack, your not a mass a murderer, your just a teenage boy who fancies guys, what’s to be ashamed about?” Kit said matter of factly. “Kit your right, I’m gay and proud of it,” Jack said as he stood up. “Amen sister!” Kit said laughing. “You know what we should do?” Jack asked clapping his eyes excitedly. “Order lots of chocolate and swoon over Orlando Bloom from my DVD collection,” Jack said as he waved them in the air. “Now that too me sounds like a great idea,” Kit said laughing.

Irene and Barry were sitting out side watching the river. “Two more days,” Barry said sadly. “Two more days of what?” Irene asked not wanting to think about it. “Of the holiday,” Barry said sadly. “I don’t want to say goodbye,” Barry said as he looked at her. “Don’t, say see you soon, as its not a goodbye, is it?” Irene asked hopefully. “You couldn’t get rid of me if you tried, your stuck with me for ever,” Barry said chuckling. “I think I can handle that,” Irene said as she moved her hand up his leg suggestively.

Beth and Tony were in the bar on their own table. “Two more days left,” Tony said sadly. “Yep,” Beth said not looking at him. “I’m going to miss you,” Tony said as he twiddled with his thumbs. “I’ll miss you too, but I can’t do this,” Beth said as she got up. “Do what?” Tony said as he stood up. “This! I can’t do it again, I can’t fall in love with someone and then they walk out and leave me, I can’t do it, I won’t do it,” Beth said as she ran down the stairs as first as she could tears flowing down her face. Tony got up and went to follow her.

Irene and Barry got up and kissed passionately. “Your room or mine?” Barry asked between each kiss. “Which one is nearer?” Irene said she laughed. Barry grabbed her hand and they ran into the bar and were about to run down the stairs. “Where are you two going?” Kim asked laughing. “Where tired,” Barry said faking a yawn. Irene did the same. “Really? Well just remember to keep the noise down, Jade needs her beauty sleep in her condition!” Nick said laughing. They didn’t answer they ran down the stairs giggling.

Barry pushed Irene up against the wall and kissed her passionately. “The key,” Irene said breathlessly. “That’s not the Key Irene,” Barry said laughing. “Oh Barry!” Irene said laughing, as she watched him open the door. Barry pushed her in and kissed her passionately and started to undo her red spangled cardigan. He pushed her against her dressing table which knocked all her perfume bottles on the floor.

Barry led her into the bathroom. “What are you doing?” Irene asked breathlessly as she blew a strand of her wayward hair away from her eyes. “Don’t tell me you’ve never done it in a shower?” Barry asked shocked. “There’s a first for everything,” Irene said as she looked up at him with one thing on her mind. Barry led her in the shower and kissed her passionately.

As they got more and more passionate Irene grabbed onto the shower curtain and unfortunately it fell down as she pulled it as a wave of pleasure came over her. As they finished they laid down on the bathroom floor exhausted and soaking wet. “Does that beat Tutankhamen?” Barry said as he breathed heavily. “Do it again and I’ll say,” Irene said as she giggled dirtily. “Irene, can I catch my breath first?” Barry asked laughing. “If you have too!” Irene said as she put her head on his chest. “I love you,” Barry whispered to her. “What was that?” Irene said as she sprung up. “Nothing, I just said that we’ll have to buy them a new shower curtain!” Barry said stuttering.
