Chapter one hundred and sixty eight – Out with the old, in with the new!

It was a new day and it was New Years Eve, the time where families get together, friends party and drinks are flowing, and this year was going to be the same the only difference was they was going to be a few surprises along the way… are they ready?

Irene and Barry woke up on the bathroom floor with the fallen shower curtain around them. “Morning!” Irene said as she creaked her neck, which was hurting her after the night sleeping on the floor. “Morning,” Barry said as he stood up and looked around at the bathroom, which was a mess shampoo bottles everywhere. “We had a wild night!” Irene said laughing. “But I thoroughly enjoyed it!” Barry said as he kissed her passionately. “How about we go and get some breakfast,” Irene asked as she put her arms around his neck. “Can I have you for breakfast instead?” he said as he leant in and kissed her.

Joey woke up and saw Tiegan staring at him. “Good morning!” Tiegan said as she ruffled his hair. “Morning, man your stomach is bony!” Joey said as he rubbed his cheek. “I’ll be fat in a few months!” Tiegan said as she rubbed her stomach. “You won’t be fat, you’ll be blooming gorgeous!” Joey said laughing. “That was so lame,” Tiegan said laughing. “I know, I know!” Joey said as held his arms up. The doctor walked in. “Tiegan Brooks, you can go home this afternoon,” he said in broken English. “That quick?” Joey asked shocked. “I get to see the New Year in with you and my family and friends,” Tiegan said as she smiled at him and kissed him on the nose gently.

Beth was getting Matilda ready. “Mum, why did you do that?” Matilda asked desperately. “Matilda, stop going on about him!” Beth shouted at her. “No wonder dad cheated on you if you treated him like this,” Matilda shouted at her. Beth turned around shocked. “What did you just say,” Beth whispered. “Mum, why do you do it, you like him, he likes you what’s the problem?” Matilda asked desperately. “Its complicated,” Beth said weakly. “Yeah because you make it,” Matilda said as she wheeled herself into the bathroom.

“Dad!” Jack said as he threw his arms up dramatically. “What?” Tony said grumpily. “You just knocked on her door and left when she didn’t answer, what was that going to do?” Jack said with his hands on his hips. “I don’t know,” Tony said as he put his hands in his head. “Talk to her, tell her how your feeling!” Jack said as he put his arm around his dad. “Talking about feelings are hard for a bloke, Jack,” Tony said as he looked up at his eldest son. “No its not, you just open your mouth and the words come out, you should try it one day!” Jack said as he walked into the bathroom. “Dad, please make up with Beth, I want her to be my mum,” Lucas said as he hugged his dad. “As do I mate, as do I,” Tony said as he kissed Lucas on the head.

Will, Gypsy, Flynn, Sally, Nick, Jade, Chloe, Tom, Vinnie, Leah, Hayley, Noah and the kids were in the dining room having breakfast. “Lets hope this party, is better than last nights,” Will said as he put his croissant in his mouth. “Nothing could be worse,” Gypsy said as she shivered at the memory, “seeing one of your friends getting stabbed, it was awful.” “I bet it was,” Sally said as she finished her cereal. Flynn’s phone went off again. “Oh that’s not Tina again is it?” Sally said sighing. “What does she want?” Leah said nosily. “Ric is ill and she wants Flynn to get on the next plane and go and see him,” Sally said as her face got redder with anger. “Whose Ric?” Vinnie asked. “Tina’s son, his 8 years old and is very close to Flynn,” Sally said sounding just a little bit jealous. “Are you sure she’s really pregnant?” Gypsy asked looking at Sally sympathetically. “I don’t know, I just don’t know,” Sally said sadly.

Sally just had a feeling something was wrong back in Oz and she was right because at Tina’s house no one was there, just a terrified little boy home alone.

Cassie: Hello! You back then?

Ric: No, it's a hologram.

Great chapter I loved it poor little Ric and I am loving Lucas and Mattie they are both so cute, Jack was great I loved it when he said to Tony how all which he had to do was open his mouth and that it wasn't hard that was great. Lucas saying he wanted her to be his mum was just way cute got to love little Luc.

Chapter one hundred and sixty nine – Jack the fashion goddess.

It was the evening and everyone was getting ready for the HUGE New Years Eve party. It was a formal occasion and the guys had to wear bow ties and dinner suits and the ladies long flowing evening dresses.

The boys were on the sun deck getting ready to go into the suit boat that was on board. “I can’t believe we have to wear a stupid bow tie,” Kim said as he got up in a huff. “I don’t know, I think I’d look rather sexy in a bow tie,” Nick said as put his T-shirt on. “Is there anything you don’t think you look sexy in?” Kim asked laughing. “I don’t think there is, God made me perfect!” Nick said as winked at them. “In your dreams,” Kim said as he hit him with his towels. “What can I say even guys are after my hot body!” Nick said as he ran towards the stairs to go down to the bar.

The girls plus Jack were in the women’s boutique. “Why’s Jack here again?” Irene asked confused.” “Because I have brilliant fashion tastes,” Jack said as he held up a black bandeau dress against Beth’s body. Colleen came out wearing a flowery long dress. “NO! NO! That is hideous Colleen, Alf would take one look at that and would be sick, you need something more understated,” Jack said as he went through the rows of dresses, “something like this!” Jack held up a lovely red long satin dress. “Are you sure it would suit me?” Colleen asked worriedly. “No offence Colleen, nothing could be worse than what your wearing now, you look like a man in drag, now go!” Jack said as he shooed her in the dressing room. “Now whose next for Jack Holden’s fashion school?” Jack asked giggling.

The guys came out in their white shirts, black jackets and their black bow ties. “I tell you what, Gypsy won’t be able to keep her hands off me when she sets her eyes on me tonight,” Will said as he straightened his bow tie. “She has her hands all over your body all the time,” Flynn said laughing. “I know, it’s great!” Will said laughing. “So is she better than Dani?” Noah asked laughing. “Whose Dani?” Robbie and Kim asked in unison. “Dani is this girl that is so up herself she’s coming out the other side,” Vinnie said laughing. “Dani decided she fancied Will here and did everything in her power to shag him, it worked,” Tom said laughing. “NO WAY!” Kim said as he straightened his shirt. “Basically Dani kissed me and as I was so drunk I gave in, then before I realized what I did, I felt this punch hit me on the face!” Will said as he rubbed his cheek in the memory of it. “Gypsy!” Robbie and Kim said in unison laughing.

Beth, Matilda, Kit and Jack were in Beth’s room getting ready. “You know what we need some champagne!” Jack said as he opened the mini bar. “Who do you reckon is paying for that?” Beth asked jokingly. “I’ll just ask dad for the money later,” Jack said laughing. “I’m off into the shower, no peeking now Jack!” Kit said laughing as she walked towards the bathroom. “No offence love, but you are so not my type!” Jack said laughing as he opened Beth’s wardrobe to look for shoes.

Irene had her hair in rollers as she sipped her glass of orange juice and read her magazine. There was a knock at the door and she got up to answer it and there she found, Colleen, Gypsy, Leah, Sally, Chloe, Hayley and Jade. “We thought we’d get ready together!” Gypsy said as she waved the bottle of champagne around. “Bagsy, I use the shower first!” Hayley said as she ran into the bathroom and found the curtain on the floor, “Irene why is the shower curtain on the floor?” “Umm,” Irene said going bright red, “I slipped and was about to fall and I grabbed onto it and it fell down.” “Funny that, my curtain broke too, but I didn’t slip I just grabbed onto it during mind blowing sex with Will,” Gypsy said laughing as she poured the champagne into her glass. “Alright then, that’s how it happened with mine,” Irene said laughing. “Irene, you sly thing, I didn’t know you had it in you!” Colleen said laughing. “I can give you tips on how to get Alf into bed if you want!” Irene said as she undid her rollers.

Kit, Beth and Matilda were sitting on chairs with their dressing gowns on and their hair in rollers waiting for Jack to do their make up. “Are you sure you know what your doing with that mascara?” Beth asked unsure. “Beth if you ask me that again, I know where I will put it, and even I wouldn’t enjoy that if that happened to me, so relax,” Jack said laughing as he put a CD on. “Its raining men” came on. “Tonight for the first time, just about half past ten, for the first time in history its going to start raining men! Whoa! Hallelujah, its raining men,” Jack sang at the top of his voice as gently applied Beth’s mascara.

Everyone was happy, Jack was the happiest he’d ever been since he found Beth and the Hunters, Irene had found and love and Colleen had found friends, but will it last what do you think?

Yay an update! I LOVE gay Jack! Really fun chapter Penny, I loved when the lads were telling Kim and Robbie about Dani and Irene and the shower curtain incident. I could go on forever listing things I love about this story but I'll just end by saying PLEASE update soon!xxx

I totally agree with Skykat, Gay Jack is fantastic!!! There are loads wondeful things in this story, you write the characters perfectly. I wish they had been in the show at the same time. Cant wait for more Penny.

Chapter one hundred and seventy – Dani Sutherland is still breathing!

The bar had balloons everywhere and streamers dangling ceiling, everyone was buzzing for this HUGE party. Tiegan and Joey entered the boat, Tiegan very slowly. “How you feeling?” Joey asked concerned. “Much better now I’m back here, and I hear there’s a party tonight,” Tiegan said as Joey opened their door. “On no your not, your going straight to bed and getting some much needed rest,” Joey said as he placed Tiegan on the bed. “Joey for ****s sake I’m pregnant, I don’t have cancer and if you think I’m staying in bed and missing Colleen doing the conga, your mistaken,” Tiegan said as she got down from the bed. “There’s no point in arguing with you is there?” Joey asked seriously. “Nope!” Tiegan said as she opened the wardrobe door.

The girls were ready and walked out wearing their long evening dresses, even Rachel was wearing a lovely dress. The boys walked out wearing there suits. “Well, I never thought you would get out of your shorts, Kim,” Barry said laughing as he saw his son. “I never thought you’d leave the bedroom,” Kim said cheekily. “Touché!” Barry said laughing, “now where’s my gorgeous date!” “Sorry Barry, I’m taken,” Nick said laughing. “Oh ha-ha!” Barry said laughing.

The girls walked towards them smiling. “WOW!” they all said in unison. “I take it you think we look like a million dollars,” Gypsy said as she spun around. “You look gorgeous,” Will said as he lifted her up and snogged her passionately. “Get a room,” Rachel said as she walked pass to find Jonathon. “Irene, you look amazing!” Barry said as he clapped eyes on her, she was wearing a red tight fitting satin corset dress. “Well I would take the credit, but Jack chose it!” Irene said as she spun around. “Come on you guys, lets get going!” Jack said as he came out of his room in a pink suit and a white frilly shirt. “Is it Halloween?” Nick asked laughing. “Nope, I’m just expressing myself,” Jack said as he ran towards the bar doors.

Everyone grabbed there partners arms and walked in the bar, and saw all the balloons and steamers and Tiegan and Joey sitting in the corner. “TIEGAN!” Kit and Gypsy said as they ran towards her. “I’m so sorry,” Kit whispered as she hugged her. “Don’t worry about it, Amanda’s gone now and I’m well and alive,” Tiegan said as she pulled away, “now whose going to get me a cocktail?” “An orange juice, I think!” Joey cut in sternly. “And too think I’ve got nine months of this, joy!” Tiegan said laughing.

Everyone was sitting down waiting for the disco so they started talking. “We were hearing all about this Dani in Summer Bay!” Kim said laughing. “Were you now?” Gypsy asked through squinted eyes. “Why were you talking about that bitch for?” Tiegan asked confused. “Man you guys really don’t like her,” Robbie said laughing. “Rob, imagine walking into the toilets and finding your girlfriend screwing some slapper while your pregnant with their child,” Gypsy said smiling at him. “I heard you punched Will?” Kim said laughing. “Punched mate, she nearly rearranged his face!” Nick said laughing.

“So is Gypsy always violent?” Robbie asked laughing. Everyone looked at each other and creased up. “Have we told you the time she slapped her mum?” Nick asked excitedly. “You didn’t!” Barry said turning around quickly. Gypsy winked. “She was cheating on dad, so I just gave her a little slap!” Gypsy said shrugging her shoulders. “Little? You nearly killed her,” Vinnie said laughing. “I wish I did now,” Gypsy said coldly. Will squeezed her shoulder in support. “Anyway, my wife isn’t the only one with a temper, Sally Fletcher!” Will said looking at her smiling.

“What?” Sally asked innocently. “Not Sally!” Tony said shocked. “I have you know Tony, I can be like Gypsy when the mood takes me!” Sally said indignantly. “She certainly can guys!” Tiegan said laughing. “Basically Flynn was going out with this complete slapper Tina,” Sally started moving her upper body in to make it sound more dramatic, “and I fancied Flynn!” “Fancied! We had to clean up the drool after you saw him!” Nick said laughing, “she loved him!” “Anyway, it was Vinnie’s birthday and Tina arrived with this bloke,” Sally said screwing her eyes up at the moment, “As the evening progressed I went to Leah and Vinnie’s room after I heard a ear piercing scream, thinking it was Gypsy or Leah gone into labour, I found Tina and her friend shagging each others brains out!” “The hussy!” Kit said as screwed her face up in disgust. “I came downstairs fuming, I was going to tell Gypsy and Tiegan you know because they would beat her to a pulp, but I didn’t get a chance as we confronted each other, and she was bitching about Joey, and no one does that around Tiegan, so Tiegan got involved and I don’t what came over me, but I slapped her!” Sally said as she slapped her thigh.

“Oh what about Dani and Tiegan bitch fight?” Vinnie said laughing. “It wasn’t a fight, it was a warning!” Tiegan said folding her arms. “You nearly broke her nose!” Vinnie said laughing. “Is Dani still alive, you girls sure gave her a beating?” Barr asked laughing. “Unfortunately she’s still breathing,” Gypsy said as she knocked back her cocktail.

The lights went dim and the disco lights came on, the party was about to begin…

Pretty soon everyone on that table was going to wish Dani wasn’t breathing as she was going to screw around with every single one of them, especially Gypsy, who stole her boyfriend.
