Chapter one hundred seventy three – Beth does a Love Actually!

The alarms went off at five in the morning on this New Years Day, and moans could be heard around the cabins. Jack groans as he puts the pillow over his head. “I don’t want to go home,” Jack said as he yawned loudly. “I can’t say I’m too enthralled,” Tony said as he walked sleepily into the bathroom. “Why’s that? Because you want to spend your whole life perving on Beth, in her bikini,” Jack said laughing. “I don’t perve!” Tony said laughing. “Yeah and I’m manly!” Jack said getting up. “Jack, don’t you mean that’s like saying your straight!” Tony said laughing. “You know?” Jack said as he turned around shocked. “Jack, even Katie knows and she’s six foot under,” Tony said laughing. “Your not cross or disappointed?” Jack asked worried. “Why would I be, I love you son, I wouldn’t care if you were pink with yellow spots on, you’re my son!” Tony said giving him a hug. “Thanks dad,” Jack says as he starts to cry.

They touched down on Australian soil and walked towards the luggage area, sadly. “I’m going to hate saying goodbye to all our new friends,” Gypsy said sadly. “We’ll see them again,” Will said as he put a arm around her, “I’m worried about Irene, she’s going to be devastated soon, when she says goodbye to Barry.” Gypsy looked at him and smiled. “She’ll be OK, she has you and Nick, defiantly Nick,” Gypsy said laughing.

Irene looked at Barry with tears in her eyes. “Don’t you cry Irene, you’ll start me off,” Barry said as he lovingly touched her cheeks. “I don’t want you to go,” Irene said as she sniffed the tears away. “I don’t want to go either,” Barry said as he wiped the tears away from Irene’s eyes. “Don’t, come back with me,” Irene said desperately. “I wish I could Irene, I really do, but Kerry wants the kids back and I have my job,” Barry said sadly. “I know,” Irene said sadly. “I love you Irene,” Barry said as he kissed her gently on the lips. “I love you too, you better call me,” Irene said as she picked her suitcase up. “I will, everyday,” Barry said as kissed her on the cheek. “Barry, you’ve made me so happy, the happiest I’ve been all my life,” Irene said as the tears fell down her cheek. “I love you Irene,” Barry said as he walked off with his sons, “remember this isn’t the end, I promise.” Irene collapsed in tears on Nick’s shoulder.

“Dad, talk to her!” Jack said frustrated. “She doesn’t want to know me,” Tony said sadly. “Dad, your clueless, you really are,” Jack said as he threw his hands up in the air. “How am I? She obviously doesn’t like me,” Tony said as he put his suitcase on the trolley. “Dad, are you so thick you can’t work it out, she’s scared of you rejecting her, she’s scared of getting her heart broken,” Jack said grabbing his dads shoulders. “How do you know this?” Tony asked confused. “Dad, I’m gay I know what women’s facial expressions say, now go and get your girl,” Jack said pointing in the Hunter’s direction.

“Mum, what are you doing?” Kit said desperately. “I’m break dancing,” Beth said sarcastically. “You know what I mean, have you told Tony how your feeling?” Kit asked folding her arms. “And how do you know what I’m feeling? I don’t feel anything for him,” Beth said stuttering slightly. “Yeah and I’m a soft little kitten who wouldn’t hurt a fly!” Kit said sarcastically. “Look Kit, I’m not going through another breakup, I’m not putting myself through it again,” Beth said determinedly. “Mum, take a chance, you like him, he likes you, all the kids get on, what’s the problem,” Kit said grabbing her arm. “It’s too late,” Beth said sadly as she looked around and the Holden’s were gone.

“Don’t give up,” Kit said desperately, “there here somewhere!” Beth didn’t say anything she flung her shoes off and started to run desperately around the airport. “TONY!” Beth shouted as she carried on running barefooted around the airport. She suddenly saw him getting in his car. She ran as first as she could. “TONY!” Beth screamed as she heard the engine start. “Dad, stop the car,” Jack said as he saw Beth running after the car. Tony braked suddenly.

Tony got out and looked at Beth. “Beth?” Tony asked confused. “Just shut up and kiss me,” Beth said as she leant in and gave him a passionate kiss. Kit, Robbie and Matilda came out and smiled at the scene and did thumbs up too Jack and Lucas. “Would you like a lift?” Tony asked as he pulled away. “Will you put your pump in my exhaust afterwards!” Beth said winking.

We see the Hunters and the Holden’s all getting in the car as a family, but what they don’t know is soon they will be going through some tough times.

The others will they were happy, but for one couple this is going to be the last day of happiness.

Yay Beth and Tony finally got back together oh I havn't read all of this fic but I will now I am happy that Beth stop the Holden's leaving and will Beth and Tony get married? 'Just shut up and kiss me' I love that quote that what I would say to my girl

We would get on on so many levels! I was at Anfield for the Galatasary game too, in the Kop. I'm a huge red, we had a season ticket for most of my childhood and only stopped it a few years ago because we couldn't find time to get to all the games. Still go as often as I can, how strange?

I can't wait to see you write Dani and Kit meeting...thank god for regular updates!
