I know that I've said previously that due to Irene and Barry being in the opening credits together that I think they will get back with each other, but now I'm not so sure. Cassie and Ric are quite intimate in their shot and it just doesn't make sense that they would do a shot like that since Ric and Cassie are breaking up soon.

How do we know Ric and Cassie break up? That's news to me. I know there are rumours about Belle pairing up with Ric, but they are rumours, nothing has been said in any of the mags. Just becasue Ric is the one who finds her does not mean she will end up with him. She will probaly turn put to be his sister or something anyway.

I think Barry and Irene will sort of get back together without a big fuss. They are talking to Kim about him coming home as if they are both there, they behave like a couple. I think it will just sort of happen and then something will happen around Kerry. I am sure they will end up together permanently, eventually that is.

Yeah, but Alf an Ailsa were actully married for about 14 years. What use is a wedding dress if you dont get the years of wedded bliss?

The opening credits for these two maybe a ploy to fool us, due to the fact i can't see why they haven't given them fresh new one, unless it's because there not backtogether yet! or it'll change when (sally and Flnn's does).

I did think that Irene was acting like Kims mum. but she care's for them both so much!

I still think that the Kerry situation is gonna come up at sometime, I can remember CB, saying that Barry has started to open up about Johnthan, and maybe he'll tell Irene, i do wonder if thats as far as it goes.

The only way for Baz to be found out if Kerry turns up alive and Baz thought he killed her but his sister was there and sent her packing a let him belive it.

They may find a body, and check dental records, other than that there's no way.

Kim won't tell he proberly understands his dad better now, and there closer than before.

I do think and hope that they both realise that they love and need eachother, life's too short for pussying around.

Irene INMOP needs to realise that she has made up for her mistakes with her kids and start beliving she can have someone for her!

I think you are right that Irene's obsession with looking after kids is to do with her guilt aroud Finlay and the boys, but I also think that she is a mother instinctively anyway, and that this will never change. Irene is one of life's givers. Equally Barry is weighed down by feelings of guilt and this burden is getting in the wy of lots of things, not least him and Irene...who he obviously adores. In the last year they have always been there for each other...rain or shine...no matter what the problem...and I think their split was rather contrived and did not exactly fit with the way they really felt about each other. As others have said...it made the subsequent plots work better. With luck the up coming plotlines work better with them together. AS Buffygirl says life is short, they need to stop pussyfooting around and GO FOR IT!

I like Irene, she has got guts, and she is a giver as CB says. I also like Barry these days. So yep, I hope they make it too. They are much more interesting than the endless teenagers who break up and make up every other episode. I think Irene deserves a bit of happiness before the next big disaster, because there is bound to be one, there always is. Irenes life is never going to be plain sailing. If she did not have some disaater to puick herself up over she would not be the Irene we know and love.

Actually, it was written in TV Soap that Belle gets together with Ric. That's how I know.
