I'm not so sure it's anything more than on a freindly sign. Why would they put Bella with them?

It does show affection. I don't know if it means anything either buffygirl, but we can hope can't we?

Belle defies the law by stealing Hyde's car in her desperate bid to finally meet her mother. I think Irene and Barry are going to fall out over this.

Yes we can still live in hope and yes Barry was grimacing, at the end prehaps apart from the tune as knocking Irene for laughing at his daughter!!

That's what worries me he's around less and less, usually did't he have the screen time of two to three episodes a week obviously depending on the storyline, now he's not there i mean even just ording a coffee at the diner I'm begening to wonder if he's going to be around at all soon. It could just be that he's doing something else e.g play, hoilday. Hopefully with the Bella Incident we'll see a bit more of Barry.....He's to hoilding our breath
chatter box Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 I n ever saw the big fuss with Hyde & Irene.. I guess it's because I don't like Hyde. I don't know why, I just really don't. He annoys me! I do understand that you don't like Hyde, and he can be a right pain at times...but I actually think that is why people like Irene and Hyde as a couple. Away from Irene Hyde is a bit stitched up, he can be quite defensive and very closed off to other peole. When he is with Irene she brings out a completely different side to him and you can see that underneath he is actually bit of a softie...and when he looks at Irene lovingly it is pretty mega....when they got together it was very touching...they were like a couple of awkward teenagers... I loved it....I think it is because he isn't a straightforward outgoing, easy going, "nice" character that a lot of people like them...Barry is a good person...he does not always show that side of himself....he is a complex character with a lot of layers.... and the Bareen shippers can see that...I hope that makes sense. That makes perfect sense to me. It is precisley because they are opposites that they work so well. Irene wears her heart on her sleeve, generally everything she thinks and feels is evident on her face and in her reactions to the people around her. She is outgoing, and connects easily with people. Barry on the other hand, due to his upbringing and to his guilt over Kerry, has for years kept the world at arms length. He is however a passionate person. He is passionate about his work, his son, and about Irene. Somehow she has has got through that wall which he had built between himself and the world. Consequently when he is with Irene we get to see the kind and thoughtful man, the passionate man, the man with a sense of humour, the loving caring man. He has also begun to make friends in Summer Bay, something which I suspect he has not done for a long time. He is very complicated and Irene could very well be his salvation IMO. That wall is still there and has a way to go before it is totally demolished, but they seem to me to have an almost instinctive insight and understanding of each other which often does not need words. Irene knows when he is worrying about something or blaming himself for whatever kim is up to, without him saying it. He knows when she is hurting and worried about her flock of kids. One of the things that I like about Barry, as well as that come to bed voice, is that he is not a one dimensional character, there is so much more to him, and so much more to learn about him. Relationships are all about "fit" in the end and I have always they thought that they "fit" perfectly.
