It was but I felt so let down....don't know why but it kinda seems like they are getting married because the writers need someone to get married for the Stalker Storyline.

I'm not so sure. I think Martha and Jack's relationship has matured and so it's not that completely out of character.

In relation to them having the wedding as the stalker is on a rampage, well this is soaplife! If the stalker storyline wasn't taking place, then I'm sure something else would have got in the way- making it a less than smooth build-up to the wedding.

Whatever the case, I just can't wait to see how all this unfolds!

Yes, i understand about how it is a bit fast in terms of thier characters, and for the purpose of the stalker, but they have now been together for four and a half months now, without serious problems (very long time in soap terms) Marriage seemed inevitable to me and i'm not that phased about them bringing it a bit forward. I liked the way it wasn't the conventional way as well, i mean the women proposing has been done before but it was very in tune with her character to make her do that! Personally i loved!
