This is just a 2 minute job, it's not from a tutorial or anything: Was just fiddling round with opacities/blending modes, and decided to throw in that tiny picture. I've made plenty of icons in just a few minutes, whiles others take longer. Oh, and btw, I used that coloring technique you did on SMG on the pointe shoes-icon and the roller skates. I notice that the colors come out a bit faded. Anything to do with this? I just looked back a few pages and saw the shoe ones- BEAUTIFUL! I think I know the answer to your problem, though... Ok, so you've got the desaturated picture..right? Make a new layer, set to color, and using the Magnetic Lasso tool, draw around the part you're going to color (the magnetic lasso should draw around the shape of whatever). Ok, one that part is selected, fill it with your colour. Tada! Then deselect. I hope this helps, but im not sure if its clear. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
