I tried to use similar images where the characters were kind of 'in thought' so they worked as a set: I really really like these ones. It's nice to see something different. I love B&W images, and like you said, you captured the characters while in deep thought, making the effect even stronger. I love how they aren't sharp, and have that blurred hazy feeling to them too. Well done! Thanks. I wanted to try and do something different and take colour completely out of it. I did the whole 'blur a second layer and erase the top layer leaving only the features' thing to get the hazy feeling. It works better on some but not on others. I love B&W-icons as well, the onlu thing I'm not too fond of is the cropping - it looks a little crammed. But, that's only my opinion Great job! Thanks Merc. I appreciate your comments. I understand your point but I wanted to really focus in on the faces for this set. I am planning to do another set of 9, so for them I think I will take your comments on board and try something different with the cropping. Just adding to that. Demand they either credit, or something! Coz using someone elses work for that is so uncool! (But also a problem that happens a fair bit...) I understand that you might not feel comfortable with conforntation but you have to tell that person that it upsets you that they've used it.
