But first, Jeh-Jeh - I'm glad the comments were useful, and you didn't find anything insulting about them. Believe me, I loved more than some, and it was really good to see you playing around with the pictures and taking some unusual choices in colouring. I like that people are brave enough to try something different!

Cat - The Zashley pinboard is cool. Its very creative, even though I'm not a Zashley shipper. I love the banner though, its really nice, and the sideways text is amazing on it. Seriously, I cannot fault your work.

furrylogic - Commented on your LJ, but amazing work yet again. Seriously, the cropping is stunning, you've gone way out on a limb and its paid off. I love them all!

Emily - Both the Tammin ones are really interesting. I'm not really a fan of the border on the second, but I do love what you've done with the picture in both cases, the colouring is very nice.

Jen - Wow, you went on an icon frenzy! I like the cropping of them, but the colouring on some seems a little to washed out, as someone else said. Like you need some colour in them. But then, the colouring suits some of the other icons too, so thats a good thing. Maybe a middle level needs to be found?

Angel_Parish - I like the icons, but there's just something missing. Maybe the colour is a bit too dull, I just feel they need more oomph behind them? I do, however, love the two Kate Bosworth banners, they are amazing, I love that picture to no end! And the last four are amazing too, well done!

Guevara01- They are good. I like the first and the fourth the most, the colouring is nice on the first, and then a little more intense in the fourth, which is cool. I hope your block ends soon!

Right I went through every page of this thread before searching for avatars and found 3 particular ones I like. I don't know how to get them all in one post because they are a couple of pages apart, but they are:

Everything I have seen on the last two pages has been excellent. Here are some from me. Just colouring. I didn't bother to make an effort, but thought they looked alright, with just colouring.

I know what you mean, the only way I know how to brighten the colour is to adjust the curves (I'm using photoshop), and it isn't always effective! I have read on some boards that people have other methods, but I haven't figured out how to do it yet!

Thanks for the comment, it's great to get feedback so you can try something different next time, or improve what you're already doing.
