Don't think you should save it in there, just "Save as" and then png-file

Ahh that does work, but the colour is slightly dodgyfied.. darker almost... does anyone else have that problem?

Merc, loving all your banners/headers, espcially the last one... It's very retro looking.

I've been trying to get my head around layers and stuff like that, and this is what i've come up with for my first try. Hopefully with the help of some of the tutorials i have been reading on here i will be used to Photoshop in no time

And these are just basic cropping/colouring,

Nicole - I used Save for Web (with elements) when I wanted to make flashing icons, and thats about it. Maybe thats why its not doing anything? As for saving them as png. it generally works for me.

irish_angel - It is very hard to get your head around photoshop, but eventually you'll get there. The best thing to do is muck around and see what you come up with And I see you have, which is fun. Tutorials are also a great way to get used to it, although finding some of the things can be very confusing! I like your most recent work too! The cropped ones are very nicely done! And you're welcome about the comments!

Amir - Commented at your LJ, but seriously brilliant work there. The cropping is great, and its brilliant to see you playing around with colouring to see what you can come up with! I love the last Matilda one though, its amazing!

Jess - Commented at your LJ too, but I like them. Some come across a little pixalated, but the colouring is great, fresh, funky, and I love the second one you posted there, the Mattie one, its great, that picture is heartbreaking!

furrylogic - SQUEE its the Gilmore Girls... how hot is Logan? The icons are amazing! Commented at your LJ also, but I love love love them all, especially the Rory (Alexis) ones, she looks so beautiful in them!

Merc - Having fun with the banners I see? Seriously, I couldn't choose, and if I could, it would be the last one, and it would have "Video killed the radio star" on it... But thats just me! I love the constrasting colours on the leaf one, the second two are stunning, seriously, the pictures are coloured amazingly, and the car one, I snuck a look at the variations on your icon LJ and I could not choose, each one was just as good as the next. Ohhh the eye ones are funky! And the girl on her own, I love that picture and its colouring, amazing! I have to say though, I'm that little bit more partial to the darker ones, but seriously amazing work. All of them were beautiful.

chris_egan23 - Thats a whole lot of Chris Egan avatars right there! The cropping is great, the colouring is a bit too bright in some, but I love the cropping. I love the second batch, the boy grew up very nicely! Who is the pretty girl with him in your icon? I like that one the most!

flutterby - The colouring is great! Just that little bit brighter... still love the text too!
