Angel Parrish - I love the R+J icons – no. 1, 3 and 5 are my favs, that is one of my all time fav films – so nice to see icons of it!

Jack/Martha – the colouring on your latest icons is really gorgeous – I especially love the Belle ones on the top line – in particular the one you chose as your current av.

And Cal F – very nice to see Xander icons – anything Buffy is always good. :D

^^I really like the angle/lighting/blur on the first one, and the colour of the third one. The composition of the keyboardist and the snake is very good as well.

Here's something I drew in paint (my av at the moment, and YES it IS Home and Away related! Maybe it doesn't look like Robbie and Kim to everyone but it does to me, and the people I've shown can recognise who it's meant to be... but... this isn't that thread, so I digress):

Because I can :)

Can you write a tut on that? I tried to do one like that of Martha, and it wasn't very good!

I absolutely love the first header emily!

And I love yours too iloverobbie!

I got Color Balance, Curves, Selective colour not so long ago (Thanks to Amir! :D) so I'm not too sure on how it works. I've followed tut's and stuff, but I was wondering whether there are any tips on it. Like... obvious things. Say if I had a very light picture, and I wanted to get a blueish effect on it, which colours I'd need to concentrate on in the Selective Colour thing. I know I'm not making much sense... I just can't understand it. lol

Maybe I should come back when I can explain it in English.

Well, I do reds and yellows normally, and fix it up with neutrals last.

For blueish colouring, I'd do yellows and reds and go to neutrals and lower the yellows bit.

Does that make sense?

Try "Neutrals". There's four bars (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow & Black). If you want a cyan tinge you pull the cyan bar forward. If you want a red tinge you pull the cyan bar back. If you want a magenta tinge you pull the magenta bar forward. If you want a green tinge you pull the magenta bar back. If you want a yellow tinge you pull the yellow bar forward. If you want a blue tinge you pull the yellow bar back. If you want more contrast you pull the black bar forward. If you want less contrast you pull the black bar back. Get it? :P

Try also playing with the other drop down colours too. But if you want a main colour to change just go with Neutrals because that controls the main colours.

Hope that helped.
