Selective colouring takes ages, eh? It gives a gorgeous effect though which youu can see in those gorgeous icons of yours. Ohh and thank-you for the link to the Ryan/Taylor icon page. Thats a gorgeous tutorial. I love Ruthie and Martin too! They are soo cute. With the one in the kitchen, I sorta just played around with selective colour and hue/saturation. I would've used levels something like this.

Duplicate Layer >> Screen

Selective Colour Layer >>

Colour - Red

C: -100

M: 30

Y: 100

Colour - Yellow

C: -47

M: -35

Y: -22

Colour - Neutrals

C:18

M:-11

Y:-17

B:-17

Hue/Saturation Layer >>

Saturation up to around 25/30ish but it really depends on your picture what level of saturation is needed.

And that was it ... hope that helps.

Jen, love the BWH ones! Man, I love that show, especially first season... and the second last episode of second season with Perry/Matt... my fave ship! Jess, commented on your LJ hun, but excellent work, especially if you used selective colouring like that on all the icons!!!

Thank-you! Again. And yes I used selective colouring ... not exactly those numbers on all those 90 icons which are at my LJ. It takes quite a while ... lucky I've got these holidays!

And like Emily I also absolutely adore that header. It's simply stunning. The text/colouring/everything is just perfect. Gah I can't sayy how much I lovee it ... it's soo striking and yet simple
